Pros/Cons
Pros
- For the most part our guests love the mobile bidding. It's fun and keeps everyone interested until the last minute of the auction.
- First time user and we are thrilled with the success; reporting features on donors could be better. I would be happy to give my feedback with a BidPal rep.
- OneCause support was extremely helpful and responsive, which I appreciated. Overall this is a great product that is easy for both attendees and admins to use.
Cons
- The reporting is probably the worst part. Some vital reports are missing and none of them are customizable.
- We lost a significant amount of money during this portion of this event because people were frustrated and intimidated by the way this portion of the program is set up.
- In addition to the poorly designed process for bidding, the bids did not show up on the show screen for others to see. Uploading a CSV file is also difficult.
Pros
- The overall experience has been positive and does help us keep track of our donor database and donor amounts, which will help us create a capital campaign and other fund-raising opportunities.
- It's been a great experience, especially having help from [sensitive content hidden],Customer Success Manager, She is extremely thorough and knowledgeable and was able to help me with what I needed.
- Bidding for Good and the ease of the platform for our online auction needs. Sensitive content hidden] were also excellent support for our school.
Cons
- Customer Service is the Absolut worst!!! I have never been treated with so much disrespect.
- I have had to complain twice about the same technical issue. The problem takes weeks to get fixed.
- The Smartlists for generating reports are absolutely horrible. I have been using Giftworks desktop for over 13 years.
