Pros/Cons
Pros
- The customer service is great as well. They are very responsive and always ensure that you get an answer and not only that but make sure you understand how they arrived there.
- They made it painless and were excellent with helping us understand what they needed on our end and had clear expectations and outcomes. It was a great experience.
- In a small organization, where one or two people are using Bloomerang, it's the perfect fit. Customer service and new integrations are also superb.
Cons
- Our current biggest annoyance is that it's hard to filter out mass emails when looking at a donor timeline. We have a workaround for that, so it's not been a major challenge to date.
- The inability to correct bad emails without getting an override from customer service.
- With our other software, I dreaded having to login each day because it was just a clunky system, but not with Bloomerang.
Pros
- The integration into our Bloomerang database has save us COUNTLESS hours of donation entry. I was thrilled to find it SO user friendly.
- Having the ability to run an online donation and an event page in the same system is helpful to our team to not have to learn two different types of platforms.
- Excellent service and experience, the staff were very helpful in guiding me through everything.
Cons
- It is less intuitive to edit personal information and I got confused about managing different campaigns, and how to direct people specifically one campaign.
- It was a little difficult for me to navigate the butter ambassador website.
- It's definitely the more feasible choice to have it turned on, but beware if your donors don't notice it, they might come back to you very unhappy.
