Pros

My team used Clickup as a project management tool for instructional designers creating new online courses. The interface and collaboration tools were incredibly intuitive and relatively powerful. It provided an excellent structure to track complex projects, and for bringing in teams of people to work on such projects. Support has been incredibly responsive and eager to implement our suggestions.

Cons

Clickup is still in early development as I write this, so a number of features that would take this product to the next level are currently missing, such as integration with a scrum/Agile model. New tools seem to be coming, but at the moment the product is still in very early stages.

Value for Money

Pros

You can assign tasks to your team members and you can install it in your mobile phones. You can get notifications from your mobile and being able to make comments upon each task. You can invite unlimited team members during trial which does not expire. Its not that expensive compared to other competitors. It has sub-tasks, and you can let others in the team be assigned as watchers too.

Cons

Its a little complex to start with compared to others but youll get the hang of it in no time. Im looking for something like a "wall" feature like facebook wall. There is no "Me" functionality in the mobile app where you can see immediately tasks that are assigned to you. unlike the desktop version. You need to go to notifications to see updates/comments.

ClickUp provides a new way to combine project and productivity management

Ease-of-use

Customer Support

Value for Money

ClickUp is a great concept for a new kind of project management tool and has a very responsive team. While they are not yet able to compete with the major players in project management, they have an aggressive development plan with weekly feature releases and a public roadmap. Keep an eye on this tool!

Pros

In addition to the basic expectations for a project management tool, ClickUp offers customizable workflows, comment assignment (turning conversation action items into tasks!), and native time tracking.

Cons

ClickUp is very new. While they have excellent plans to improve where other project management tools fall short, especially in the area of productivity management, most of these are yet to be released. In particular, ClickUp cannot currently generate reports, communication is limited to the task or subtask level, and integrations (Zapier, G Suite, etc.) is still in the future.

ClickUp thinks BIGGER. Thinks growth. Their project management and productivity software has several tiers of hierarchy for project organization and TONS of features. I'm still learning all the time. their customer support is informative and front of mind without being overwhelming. And they helped me with my move from another company that left everyone out to dry.

Cons

Thus far I have not found anything that I don't care for. There seem to be a lot of automatic emails until you dial it in for your needs. But I appreciate the accountability.

ClickUp was cheaper and less complex than a number of task management tools we looked at, both pros for a small team. The interface was relatively user-friendly and clean, and offered all the basic functionality we needed. In the end we ended up going with a different solution, but we all liked how affordable and useful ClickUp was.

Cons

There might be a bit of an initial learning curve for people who have never used anything similar, and more integrations would be helpful!

I've used many productivity software but never find an optimal solution. Until now. Clickup is user friendly and complex enough at the same time - easy to use but offers all the advanced options. What I like most:
- Very intuitive and easy to use. Clear and customizable interface (customizable = not only you can set the colour etc. but also turn on/off options you need and columns you'd like to see/hide). Great documenation and tutorials
- Three different aproaches found in different apps combined: Lists of items (like in Asana, Todoist etc.) / Boxes and cards (like in Trello) / Calendar view
- Start date, due date and time estimation for each task - in most productivity apps one of those is either missing or is available only in premium version
- Task dependencies even in the free version
- Multilevel structure: Spaces - Projects - Task - Subtasks - Checklists
- Import: you can move your staff to Clikcup from many popular apps and services with few clicks
- Integration with time tracking apps, calendars, gmail (via Zapier) etc.

Cons

- No desktop app
- While creating tasks from emails Clickup doesn't import attachements
- You need to have a separate time tracking software and actually it should be Harvest or Toggl if things are expected to sync smoothly with Clickup

This company is constantly improving their software and including vital aspects that make project management so much easier. The support team is unlike anything I have ever seen before. They not only handle immediate requests great they can even handle on going reminders when you asked them to keep you informed of certain things. Even though I get the update emails their team continue to send me personal emails when specifically requested improvements were coming out. Amazing. Unheard of in today's can't even reach a person or maybe you can if you go through all these options but then again it's just a chat or a number either way you will wait and maybe not even get the answer you were looking for world.

Cons

Due to the variety of things the system does it takes a little while to enter all information. Keyboard shortcuts could really help the system out. I know they did work on some and launch them but it wasn't as much control as I was hoping for.

We've been using ClickUp for about 3-5 months now and we're noticing that projects are getting done on time more frequently and sometimes even ahead of schedule. That alone is completely worth the switch from Basecamp to ClickUp.

Pros

Before ClickUp we were using Basecamp for project management. Basecamp was a great starting platform but as we grew it quickly become apparent that we needed something more robust. ClickUp answered (almost) all of our needs. Clients, projects, and tasks can all be viewed in multiple views. We can also see all project workflow across the entire agency and contributing members in one view, which was impossible with Basecamp. Also, there are a ton more features within an individual task like time estimates, tracking capabilities, and subtasks that Basecamp didn't offer. Overall, we're extremely pleased with our decision to switch to ClickUp.

Cons

The only downside to ClickUp is they are relatively newer compared to similar project management platforms so features are still be added/ fine-tuned. For example, ClickUp doesn't have a Gantt chart feature and their notification system could be GREATLY improved. They also currently don't support client communication. However, they are aggressively working on adding new features.

I like how ClickUp is organized. Click Up, by contrast, claims to include all the features made possible with popular integrations providing users with deep functionality that fits naturally into their workflow.

This software helps me to stay organized with multiple different projects going on at one time. It's great for the solo-preneur who wants to store project information in a centralized location. Can take some getting used to for those not use to project management.

Pros

My favorite part of the software is the project and task statuses. You can easily customize your project workflow by adjusting how you categorize your specific phases for a project. Typically in other project management softwares the task is either assigned or completed. With ClickUp I can customize the different steps I would like to take each task through for a project type. ClickUp also has a really intuitive functionality when it comes to separating different workspaces. I work with many different types of industries, and I like to separate them completely in my mind. Thankfully they are still only one click away with ClickUp just incase I need them.

Cons

The User Interface feels minimal to the point that I sometimes don't know what I'm supposed to focus on while using. There are some experience issues such as slightly overcomplicating how to create a project or task. Overall, these things can be overcome with a bit of learning and time. I think it's worth it to stick it out with this software.

Our whole company just switched to using ClickUp from Trello. It's so much better, and keeps getting better. ClickUp is still fairly new, but each new feature surprises me and improves your experience.

You get options of list view, board view, or box view and each of my colleagues prefers a different one everyone's happy. And the information is never compromised, no matter which format you choose to look at it.

I guess the thing I like most about this software is that if you ask "I wonder if I can do this in ClickUp," the answer is probably yes. You just have to find the feature.

Cons

There isn't a lot I don't like about this software. I haven't found anything I don't like, yet! If I had to choose one, I guess I don't like their purple color for branding. But you can even change that in your settings if you want, and choose a different color.

It has single handedly made me productive. I'm a stay-at-home dad and business owner so clarity and order are what I need to ensure I do the best job I can for my family and clients. ClickUp has made my life ordered and simple to manage.

Pros

Super friendly support who have a sense of humour and aren't reading from a script, their features are beautifully crafted, bug fixing is done in no time flat, it's simple to use and navigate thanks to a hierarchy approach of getting around, the pricing is unbelievably cheap for the quality - shall I continue?

Cons

They don't have BitBucket integration, calendar sync or recurring tasks HOWEVER all will be available within 2-3 weeks.
