Pros

My team used Clickup as a project management tool for instructional designers creating new online courses. The interface and collaboration tools were incredibly intuitive and relatively powerful. It provided an excellent structure to track complex projects, and for bringing in teams of people to work on such projects. Support has been incredibly responsive and eager to implement our suggestions.

Cons

Clickup is still in early development as I write this, so a number of features that would take this product to the next level are currently missing, such as integration with a scrum/Agile model. New tools seem to be coming, but at the moment the product is still in very early stages.

Pros

You can assign tasks to your team members and you can install it in your mobile phones. You can get notifications from your mobile and being able to make comments upon each task. You can invite unlimited team members during trial which does not expire. Its not that expensive compared to other competitors. It has sub-tasks, and you can let others in the team be assigned as watchers too.

Cons

Its a little complex to start with compared to others but youll get the hang of it in no time. Im looking for something like a "wall" feature like facebook wall. There is no "Me" functionality in the mobile app where you can see immediately tasks that are assigned to you. unlike the desktop version. You need to go to notifications to see updates/comments.

ClickUp provides a new way to combine project and productivity management

Value for Money

ClickUp is a great concept for a new kind of project management tool and has a very responsive team. While they are not yet able to compete with the major players in project management, they have an aggressive development plan with weekly feature releases and a public roadmap. Keep an eye on this tool!

Pros

In addition to the basic expectations for a project management tool, ClickUp offers customizable workflows, comment assignment (turning conversation action items into tasks!), and native time tracking.

Cons

ClickUp is very new. While they have excellent plans to improve where other project management tools fall short, especially in the area of productivity management, most of these are yet to be released. In particular, ClickUp cannot currently generate reports, communication is limited to the task or subtask level, and integrations (Zapier, G Suite, etc.) is still in the future.

Recurring tasks, retaining comments from completed tasks. Very helpful as many of the tasks we complete in the team are repeating, and having previous notes on hand is very useful. Assigned tasks are also great

Cons

Getting used to the multi leveled hierarchy has taken time to get used to and to train the other team members in.

Excellent support - love the "up-vote" of feature requests.
Amazing product with lots of features, presented in a clean/simple way.
Very quick response.
Support is wonderful, the real-time chat makes getting answers and fixes very easy.

Cons

Love the product, but looking forward to the granular security.
Would also be nice if there was an excel import template. As we move more coworkers into ClickUp it does take a fair amount of time to enter every project/task into the screen.

Better productivity, less stress about missing key information on the multiple concurrent projects I run as a freelancer web developer / designer. Clarity into where each project is, what to do next, what's holding it back, what I'm waiting on from clients. The ability to plan my week with the calendar view, and store key info about a project in it's descriptions (not in a task) - stuff like links to resources, and logins, media from clients, etc.

I love the freedom it provides by just giving you all the building blocks you need to organize your work, and not restricting you into "one best way" of doing things. Love the elegant, clean, functional and intuitive interface - it really makes it a pleasure rather than a chore to have to update my projects.

Pros

I wasn't even asked to write this review, I just like the software so much I wanted to give some appreciation to the team behind it and also help others find the product.
1. Awesome design - I really like my software to have a good interface, and ClickUp has the best I've seen. Elegant, clean, non-cluttered, intuitive, functional.
2. Flexibility - you can organize your work however you see fit, while giving you all the building blocks to do so. I, for example, created just one project inside of ClickUp for all my ongoing Website Design & Dev. projects, each of them being a list inside that project. I still have enough depth because of sub-tasks ans check-lists. Also, I have two more lists called Admin (for admin tasks) and General (for small tasks that don't fit in a project, like support requests)
3. A pleasure to use: this is a corollary of 1 and 2, but I have to mention it here because I always had trouble sticking to whatever system I was trying to get to work. If the App you're using doesn't make checking and updating it daily (at least) a completely friction-less and pleasant experience, then you're a lot likely to "forget" or procrastinate updating it, and things get lost and deadlines get missed. ClickUp nails this. I've never missed a beat ever since I've started and am building up some nice routines around it. Even the daily email digests are clean, to the point and useful
4. Price - IT'S FREE with full features.

Cons

I spent about 10 minutes trying to come up with something negative, and all I found was some functionality that I'd like to see added to the Android App: the ability to sort tasks in the list (by due date, priority, or both). You can do this on the web or desktop app, of course, but I couldn't find this on the mobile app.

We use ClickUp as a tool to sum up tasks and lists which needs to be done. It also helps us to quickly take note of an idea which needs more attention later.

Pros

Interface is clean and features are complete. It really allows us to focus on what needs to be done. When comparing to other similar tools we found ClickUp to work the easiest for us with the best workflow.

Cons

The native application for macOS is an Electron app which is resoruce hungry. Also when shutting down the computer it warns me if I really want to close the app and there is no way to disable the warning.

We're doing retail store. We manage our orders with ClickUp and it helps much on tracking order states, storing customer information, assigning tasks... ClickUp helps us keep track of everything and that helps sastify our customers.

Pros

ClickUp is easy to use even for non-techy people. Projects created in ClickUp will be well organized. Users will always know what to be done and no more missing tasks. The UI is clean, simple and visual. Most of the basic features required for a project management tool is there (or going to be, or being finetuned).

Supporting is great. ClickUp team is always there to help even for free plan users.

Developement team is working hard. ClickUp is updated so often to keep the app run smooth and has the most productive features. Great things are just coming soon.

Cons

ClickUp is new, so it will lack many things: intergration to popular services, admin control, advanced features like custom field, automation... Those stuffs are being developed so users have to wait at the meantime.

The performance is no so good. ClickUp runs slow on all the flatform.

The free plans doesn't mean so much compare to Trello free plans. ClickUp free plans give only 100MB which will run out in second for any team that have attachments. For the entire build, ClickUp should set users free on storage and strict them on feature sets which is still quite basic entirely.

I improved my writing process and my time efficiency on my coding project

Pros

The flexibility of organizing planning points in their own spaces, custom statuses, etc. . The constant improvements through continuous development of new features or improvement of existing ones.

Cons

There isn't much to dislike for me thankfully, the only thing that really comes to mind is that the desktop app as of now is missing integration with time tracking.

I find that our projects run smoother, our efficiency has increased, communication is much better, and overall we are just able to see bottlenecks faster.

Pros

The statuses for tasks is amazing for Project Management. I can easily see how a project is progressing or if there are delays or set backs.

Cons

As it is so new there can be some bugs in the system. However, Click Up Customer Service are very quick to fix anything I bring to them.

ClickUp helps me stay organized in a way that no other program has been able to do for me. It is extremely configurable, is constantly being developed, and helps me keep on top of tasks I've delegated or expect others to complete.

Pros

I appreciate the huge effort that ClickUp puts into customer service and constant development of the program. I first looked into ClickUp in August 2017, but it was not yet developed enough for my needs. It has since not only met my needs, but surpasses them, and I've been a happy client since April 2018.

I've started using ClickUp for everything I need to get done at work. If it will take me longer than 10 minutes to do, it gets added as a task. There is a very handy Chrome extension that makes task creation and time logging really simple. Rather than depending on snoozed emails or an in-the-moment triage of what I need to work on, I use ClickUp to keep myself organized. My previous to-do app was not being developed (at least, there were no significant features being added), I couldn't involve my colleagues, and the flow didn't quite fit the way I work. With ClickUp, there is significant weekly development, I can assign tasks to others, and I can configure the program to fit my workflow precisely. On top of all this, it is at a great price point compared to many of the other options out there.

Cons

My dislikes would be very minor and may become moot in the very near future. The app only loads some of the tasks that would appear on a page (to keep loading quick, I imagine), which means that when I want to view all my tasks I have to scroll down, wait for more to load, scroll down again, wait for more to load, and so on. There are also a few cases where it takes too many clicks to get things done, although I find that's constantly being improved. Finally, the Android app is a bit tedious to use.

Project, task and time management under 'one roof' so great for teams of all sizes. Being cloud-based and with an app to support it, ideal for remote workers as well.

Pros

Excellent value for money. The free option is almost too good as I'm sure we could have stayed there and managed but I paid for the upgrade mainly to show my support plus open up the ability for attachments. The support is really good. They actually answer questions as if you matter and requests are implemented quickly.

Cons

When I have a project selected and use the Create Task quick link, it would be good if the software recognised the fact I was already in a project as opposed to making me select which project this referred to.

No more lost tasks, forgotten projects, or arguing over who was supposed to do what!

Pros

The customizability. You can choose which features you need, and the ones you don't go away. This is invaluable in task management, so you're not constantly overwhelmed.

Cons

There's a bit of a learning curve, but it's worth it! I recommend spending some time alone with it if your the admin before you roll it out to your team. That way you have a good understanding of the way it works, and have had a chance to setup a basic structure for your company.

Pros

- We can use Filters to view and manage items;
- User Interface is clear and polished and provides us with great User Experience;
- Integrations; we can use external apps e.g. to track time spent on specific item;
- Cross-device and multi-platform; Android app is available in Google Play store;
- Multi-assign; You can assign more than one person to one task!
- Responsive Help Desk - very kind team, they will reply in hours, not days :-)
- Fast development - a lot of new useful features came up since we're using ClickUp;
- Ease of use and simplicity;
- Views: you can use board, list or a box view to manage the issues;
- It's stable - no major bugs even after introducing new features.

Cons

Actually there's no such thing. We really like every piece of ClickUp application - no major limitations or drawbacks so far.

Pros

ClickUp has highly customizable filters and views so your info can be available when and where you need it. Our team found it very quick and easy to import our data from Todoist (our former project managing choice) and get onboard.

Cons

I do wish it had mind mapping as that feature would be very useful for strategizing for our team members.
