Asana on a whole new level

Pros

If you are a fan of Asana, but want a power up...you have met it with ClickUp. This is super easy to use, allows items to be way more organized and really allows you to grow with them! Way more features for the price!

Cons

It was a bit confusing to set up at first even with coming from Asana! Once I got the hang of it, it made life way easier! Take the time to read through tutorials!

Easy Tool to Organize, Track, and Schedule Tasks!

I've used ClickUp and Asana and found them both to be very similar and great tools to keep organized.

Pros

Has a nice dashboard and calendar view to show all your tasks and separate the ones you are currently working on, from the ones coming up. You can easily organize by teams and having your unscheduled tasks in the sidebar is useful. You can also easily filter by tags, due date, assignee, project type, etc.

Cons

Too many pop-ups. Switching between views seems to trigger a pop-up asking if you'd like to add a task and can get annoying.

Customer Service sucks

Pros

At first I thought that the product would be great because based on their marketing materials they offer a lot of features that other project management software didn't have. Upon trying it I would agree that that is the case. The ability to have different status codes for different projects is a great feature to have because our developers like to use an Agile format as opposed to our customer service team which has something more simple.

Cons

Customer Service- They say on their marketing page that they have the best customer service AND they are available 24 hours. Clearly not the case.

If I could build a business around a product, I'd choose ClickUp

Pros

ClickUp was super customizable, and would work for all sorts of teams.

Cons

While it was very customizable, it was in it's own way. I seemed to do everything mediocrle instead of 1 thing excilently. For instance, we run an agile scrum development shop, and it would not work for our agile development because it doesn't support scheduled sprints.

A new star in project management tools

My transition from Asana/Trello to ClickUp was, overall, simple and straightfoward. I was able to import my Asana projects into ClickUp, make some modifications to fit the new system, and I was off to the races. Because of the gannt chart feature, I've got all of my projects for this year mapped out in realistic timelines and I'm now actually an entire week ahead of schedule - and we're only a week into the year! ClickUp has definitely been a game changer in my business.

Pros

This tool is so flexible! They combine the best of tools like Asana and Trello and then add even more goodies. They recently rolled out guest account management and gannt charts and that's put them in a new league. Other tools offer gannt charts, but I haven't found one that offers the flexibility of ClickUp without making you pay for 5 accounts even if you're the only person using the tool in your business. ClickUp is a much more feasible option for small businesses while offering even more value. Win-win!

Another bonus is the fantastic support team. When they released the guest management feature, several of us freelancers who use ClickUp expressed concerns about the limitations that had been made for those of us who only have one person in our business and thus one ClickUp account seat. The ClickUp team responded right away and updated the feature with a compromise that not only made it a great feature for us users, but which I think also increases the value of ClickUp even more! Given the wide array of features (with even more on the way!) and the wonderful support team, I'm now a loyal ClickUp user.

Cons

There might be a bit of a learning curve for some, but if you've used other project management software like Asana, it's not significant. They have great help documentation and their support team can guide you to a solution if you run into any obstacles. I did have some issues with the time tracking extension on Chrome, but the support team looked into it and resolved it for me like champs.

A worthy challenger in Project Management Software

Great experience. Great price-point. Totally worth the time it takes to learn.

Pros

ClickUp has features for almost any possible project across any industry. The most utilized features for us was the level of granularity. We could really break down tasks to the most granular level for accurate time-tracking as well as task-tracking. The direct slack integration, Chrome Extension and Chrome NotePad by Clickup made adding tasks or data to tasks while browsing a breeze with the floating widget.
Unlimited read-only access for clients is a massive bonus as well.

Cons

Steep learning curve. They try to re-invent the project-management wheel by arranging Projects somewhat differently to what is standard. Once the learning curve is over though, it's a veritable Project Management beast.
ClickUp is relatively new, so the integrations are not as many as the more established players. But its nothing an API or Zapier connection couldnt solve.

Clipup is the best way to project management

I have been using this product for more than 6 months. Its very easy to manage your projects using ClickUp. Even a person without much experience in project management can manage project easily using ClickUp. Thank you all behind this wonderful product.

Pros

We started using ClickUp for one of our projects which had a very little tight time schedule and where each task should be completed and monitored in a very short time. After using ClickUp we realized that this made our team more effective and productive. It is easy to use just like drag and drop. And tasks and sub tasks makes project management easy. And it is easy to review each task on a timely manner using ClickUp.

Cons

So far I am satisfied with this product. But it will be better if there is integration with invoicing.

Clickup is an amazing product management tool

Pros

It’s incredible how many features are available in the free version. It’s great for team collaboration. The structure is easy to understand and edits are as simple as a drag here or a double-click there

Cons

Compared to other project management software, Clickup could be a little snappier when it comes to speed.

Imagine Trello just gave birth to a rocket

You're probably reading this because you're shopping around for a new task management tool for your team to use. That was me once too, and I'm so glad that I came across ClickUp. Just look at the positive reviews that are out there, then imagine your most edge case need and I'd be surprised if this baby doesn't exceed your needs. Seriously take it for a spin, it will cost you nothing and you (and your team) will love it.

Pros

1. The amount of features and ability to turn them on and off depending on needs
2. Simple, easy integration with other tools like Slack, email etc...
3. Adaptability that lends itself to a plethora of diverse work processes.
4. Dark mode = Awesome
5. An active dev team that engage with users and push out regular updates
6. Different views, board, list, calendar... and they are working on Gantt Charts too

Cons

This section has to be over 40 characters so here it goes...

1. It’s not an *actual* rocket

Freelancer's Project Management on Steroids

I'm setting up my entire freelance life within it right now. There are tons of helpful docs and videos to get onboarded. I've worked on the web in various capacities over the last thirteen or so years and have tested dozens (hundreds?) of productivity tools. ClickUp is legitimately the most impressive project management suite I've encountered.

Pros

I'm a relatively new user but I've been blown away so far with all of the features and functionality. It's truly absurd how comprehensive this tool is and I've yet to fully immerse myself in it. The best part is the flexibility of set up and workflow. You can devise virtually any system and implement it with just about any size team.

Cons

I can honestly report that there is nothing so far I've found to be a negative. The only thing that could possibly be an issue for some users (myself included) is the sheer scope of capabilities and versatility of organization. If you are seeking a barebones to-do list app, ClickUp is not for you (although it could certainly function as that if you ignore the peripheral awesomeness).

Great System!

Love it! A much better alternative to Zoho.

Pros

I love the ease of use of this product. It is so easy to create projects and tasks. I love that you can easily add people to asks. The filter system is great too! Love the screenshot/make a task feature and the chrome extension.

Cons

I don't like that you have to install the extension to make the logging time function work. I also don't like that you have to add the log time column separately, it should be a default on the dashboard.

Great Productivity Software for a Aligning a Growing Team

Pros

ClickUp is easy to use and intuitive from the get-go. With little to no project management experience users can immediately begin creating, assigning, and managing projects and workflows.

Cons

While the feature set is growing, ClickUp is limited in depth. The software's use seems ideal for 2-50 member teams.

ClickUp -

ClickUp seems like it's free from the chains of more old school project management systems. They really do constantly add features and change things around. Mostly for the better. But that said, it's still easy for me to miss tasks. Some features are clunky and difficult to navigate. I like it, and it's approachable. But it has a ways to go still.

Pros

It's great that ClickUp regularly asks for feedback from real users and adds new features monthly based on user feedback.

Cons

There's a downside of changing things a lot. The product you sign up for now will be different 6 months from now. If you like the changes, great. if not, you're stuck with it after you've already invested time in it.

Great Project Management Tool

Pros

It's a free tool with a great design. There is flexibility with organizing your work by what works best for you.

Cons

On the mobile app, it would be nice if you could sort tasks by due date or priority. You are able to do this on desktop but not on mobile.
