That subsidiary was eventually dissolved but I still use MyHours to track my time. Specifically, I would like to change the date a project starts. As I was told, "This date actually can't be changed as it is not a project 'start date' but a date when the project was created in My Hours. If you wish to change the date created and do not have any time logs that you wish to keep, you could make a copy of the existing project and then delete the original project." I understand, but seems easier to be able to adjust the date. Maybe just me. #### Reasons for choosing My Hours Value per dollar, ease of use and setup, reporting options, overall flow of the UI. These were all very important to me and MyHours was the only tool that punched all my buttons! #### Reasons for switching to My Hours I created a time tracking spreadsheet a few years ago and have been using that. It was easy enough but I had to tweek it before the start of every year. I realized that I was spending way too much time on my own tool and started to look for a SaaS alternative. I love the fact that I can have clients with different rates, team members with different rates, multiple projects for clients, and tasks under those projects. It's incredible the amount of customization on such an easy-to-navigate product. #### Cons In some ways, it has too many features for my small business and it took me a bit longer to set up my own preferred flow of clients / projects / tasks. But, huge caveat, when I set it up, I was only testing it out and didn't think about future use. If I had planned out my implementation with long-term use in mind, it probably would not have taken me nearly as long to do this part. #### Reasons for choosing My Hours They were either way more costly or way more involved than I wanted/needed for my business. It has a really simple format allowing it to be quickly understood by new users and it responds to most of my requirements.MyHours is available in web and app mode and allowing to be used anywhere and at any time which can really help if you have a lot of small customers. You always can add, edit and check notes regarding your job tasks, time tracking, create any notes, and even add some images for recording. Reports from MyHours help me to create invoices, and avoid any situation when I can forget something.I have to add, It is reliable - I didn't find any losses in my records and didn't meet any interruption in access to my data over all time. The tracking of time by project, client, tasks, etc. is really accurate and really helps to do a better management of hours per project and helps a lot for the billing of customers. #### Cons The interface is really bad on mobile devices (mostly cellphones). On tablets it's not so bad, but cellphone really need a major improvement.
