Streamtime software


Streamtime is a cloud-based project management solution that offers task management and team management functionalities to help businesses manage their operations. The solution caters to businesses of all sizes across various industries.

Streamtime automatically imports data from job plans to create to-do lists. Project managers can assign people to each task and follow up on task status in real time. The team management module allows project managers to view the real-time allocation of their resources. Users can also move tasks between team members in order to manage a resource crisis.

Streamtime features automated job quotes, which creates automated price quotes by pulling data from job plans. The documents are then forwarded to customers for approval with the click of a button. With the help of dashboards and reports, managers are able to track the status of their projects and make decisions accordingly.

Streamtime is available on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via online FAQs and knowledge base.

    It can take people a while to change their behaviour to embrace the to do list over traditional time sheets. Took a bit of persuading.

    Easy to use time management. I like that you can create template items to easily populate a new project quote. Hours logged by job and item can then be quickly turned into an invoice. Great email support and webinars too.

    Cons

    As a new user, I'm looking forward to getting to know the software more. So far I'm finding it very easy to use with no issues.

    Great way to visualise where projects are at, limit paper/print use and get jobs and job-flow organised.

    Pros

    Easy to create jobs with tasks and costs
    easy to plan day or week
    pause, complete or archive jobs

    Cons

    logs me out every day (no doubt a privacy thing)
    on TO DO screen, My Items hard to work out at a glance. All jobs look the same. Colour-coding or another option could help.
    Reporting option would be great. Amount earned in last quarter or year etc, hours.

    Simplification of our studio's operational procedures

    Pros

    Functionality is great. Our quoting and invoicing system has been streamlined to make it much easier for all staff to work interchangeably in the one system.

    Cons

    So far so good. The only issue I have encountered is when the system updates and things move around slightly.

    Simple and easy to use - cut away a lot of dead wood from the old version.

    Pros

    Simplicity and intuitive design - saves money over old version too. Good back up with responsive support. Have only used it for a few months, but used old Filemaker version for 10 years or more - this is much better.

    Cons

    Occasional lag from web based solution - but can be accessed anywhere. Slight concern about security over the web, but no problems so far.

    Very clean and easy to use. easy to see tasks that been to be done and how much time has been spent on certain projects.

    Cons

    I can not add in my annual leave into the weekly schedule, as I don't use the Microsoft calendar. Would also be nice to be able to allocate regular tasks, eg meeting 10-11am every Monday or every Friday finish 3.30, or every Thursday 9 - 10 work on invoices.

    Huge cost saving on the Classic version. Ease of use once you spend a little time working with it and get your head out of the old interface.

    Pros

    Now that I've had to to get to know the interface I am loving the ease of use. I now longer have to run a separate server and there is the obvious cost advantage. As a sole trader, the cloud version makes so much more sense.

    Cons

    A little too basic in the standard mode. Scheduling should be included. I would like for there to be more pop up hints that suggest how to do things as you work in StreamTime.

    The ease of use. The design is really good from a UX point of view and also aesthetically. It's big and bold and the dragging is good.

    Not sure yet, I'd say though maybe the quick access as just one of the users to see how much time I've spent on a particular job. Like a quick view would be good

    Visibility to project profitability and the ability to see when we're about to go over budget. Easy resource allocation and streamlined our billing process.

    Pros

    Real time visibility to project profitability, easy activity logging for the team and integrated invoicing removes another manual task from my list.

    Cons

    There's no projected profitability report - i.e. you can't pull out a report which shows the planned profit on projects.

    Quick and easy to plan jobs, create quotes and track time

    Overall, it's really easy to use. Planning jobs and creating quotes is really quick and straightforward. It also makes it easy to amend quotes based on client feedback and get them an updated version. It's already saved me a lot of time / made me more efficient.

    I've also used quite a few time-tracking apps and this is by far the quickest/least painful way of doing it. Everyone hates tracking their time, but this takes the sting out.

    Onboarding my colleague and teaching her how to use it was easy as well. Much of it is self-explanatory so it only took about half an hour and she was up and running.

    Cons

    The only thing that jumps to mind is adding a job number to a job. It's not easily 'discoverable' how to add a job number unless you know where to look. I always forget to add one for this reason, but it's a 10-second job to go back and add one later so it's not a big deal.

    The best part is being able to see the availability for your team remembers, and being able to make changes by clicking and dragging things around.

    Streamtime has helped to revolutionise our business. It not only is a tool we use daily but integral to business development. We use it on an ongoing basis to fine tune what we do with respects to processes & procedures. It helps us be agile and can flex with our growth. Support is second to none too!

    I have passed for a bunch of task management softwares, but Streamtime is the one that I still use.

    Pros

    First of all, it got a great UI an UX, and it's very easy to understand. The budget and timeline features are great and so does the customer support.

    One or another sporadic errors, but it's minor questions. Streamtime is as perfect a software can be.

    It streamlined all our planning. It's our one-stop shop for all things projects. We run through it every morning with the team and rely on it as our source of truth.

    Pros

    We love the To Do list, makes time sheets a breeze.
    Moving through the different functionalities (project planning, quoting, invoicing, reconciling, timesheet reports) is simple - and beautiful!.

    Cons

    If you need to work on complex quotes for series of similar projects, ST is not your best bet.
    Streamtime is a fabulous source of data, but I still rely on spreadsheets for accurate reporting.

    The user experience is super easy to get your head around. I love how fluid and integrated it is. It took no time at all for our team to learn how to use it, and as a designer I have to say I love the beautiful design!

    Cons

    It would be good if you could assign priority to tasks that auto-fills to the week and day. Sometimes the task assigner assigns a job and that job is on hold, maybe if the software could auto-detect when a job had not started being worked on and remind the assigner whether or not this job is active.

    Simple. Visual. Support is good, the team is very responsive. Having online access means I'm always connected.

    Cons

    Can't print job sheets. Would like the invoice and quote numbers to default to my job numbers.
    Have had a couple of glitches send quotes... the client recieves a link to the wrong quote.
