  • Pros

  • I've overall enjoyed this system and surely don't know all the cool things it does. I appreciate any education on how to better leverage the tools it offers and how to do things more efficiently.
  • Overall, I love the product and when I can get the assistance I need I am very happy. We aren't a huge company but we manage close to 300 doors, so we are respectable.
  • The texting function is extremely helpful and e-mailing within AppFolio for a record is awesome. Search function is terrific as the system will list everything that corresponds to what you typed in.
  • Cons

  • We have to pay them back and it can be very frustrating for them as they have to wait days for their funds.
  • This causes havoc for us as some tenants with due dates other than the 1st get charged twice in the longer months.
  • Integration with other software has been a challenge. Marketing reports are not as detailed as a result and that is a problem with larger properties where marketing data is entered by many.

  • The support I got to set up my website was amazing. The staff at Unit Trac is always very helpful with some complicated transactions that we may need help with from time to time.
  • The ease of using the software is great for a newcomer to the business. All the important information is easy to get to and it generates useful reports.
  • The software is extremely easy to use and customer support has been excellent. I have always spoke with customer service when I call customer support and she has been awesome to deal with.
  • Cons

  • I was told this would be implemented last year. Has it been done and have I just missed seeing it.
  • I have not had time to learn to use all the functions. Do not have a bookkeeper or secretary so it's difficult to set aside time to learn.
  • You could input tenant information and move on. My only gripe is there is currently no way for customers to get a notification prior to their due date.
