Pros/Cons
Pros
- I have only used it for 3 months and so far so good. Customer service is pretty good with things that they can answer quickly.
- Their tech support has been outstanding over the years. I highly recommend this product to any landlord or property manager.
- Great product, user friendly, easy set up, reliable and convenient. Great for any size business.
Cons
- If you accidentally miss a document or upload them in the wrong order (as is required in my agency) you have to delete them and start all over again.
- It has also been glitchin from time to time and that can delay applications and tasks and it's very frustrating.
- Hard to set up late fee charges for each unit. Even tenants paid on time and their balance is $0, the software post late fees and no option to modify settings.
Pros
- The messaging and profile features have been very helpful for improving our team communication and quality of service for our guests.
- He answered any and every question I had in a nice manner, he made me feel comfortable with any kind of questions I had.
- I just like the way all the options are laid out at the top of the screen making navigation very easy and seamless. We take calls each day from guests wanting to book rooms and find out availability.
Cons
- The cloud version has little errors and mistakes, including spelling errors for warning messages. I don't think VM hires the best web developers and their cloud PMS makes that obvious.
- Also...the inability to click and drag the length of maintenance blocks.
- Training was very confusing at first even with the videos. I found that the demo was difficult because it was not reflective of how we would use our system.
