SiteLink Software is a solution for property management operators across the globe in industries including real estate investment trusts (REITs), manufactured housing and self-storage. The software is offered through a web-based or on-premise deployment, and is Mac, iPad,  and PC compatible.

SiteLink’s core functionalities include property accounting, tenant and lease tracking, budgeting and forecasting, and building maintenance. Accounting features include general ledger, accounts receivable, gain/loss analysis, transactional history and reporting. Building maintenance features include billing, dispatching, inventory tracking, mobile support, task tracking and more. Additional features offered within SiteLink include interactive property maps, access to SiteLink’s partnering vendors, marketing analysis, teletracking, eCommerce, web pay, tenant notifications, enterprise management and more.

Founded in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1996, SiteLink caters to property operators of all sizes, and maintains PCI DSS Level 1 and SOC 1 Type II Certification for data security.

Without Sitelink we would have gotten sloppy with tenant records, gate codes, etc. Sitelink provides a common sense place for all of the information pieces. This has been especially helpful. The integrations and partnerships from the Sitelink Marketplace has made it much less time consuming to find and execute these additional services. Without these pre-vetted solutions i would have had trouble finding the right vendors. I have used only Sitelink partners and have only made one change in the 10 years which was to switch credit card processing to Sitelink Merchant Services.

Pros

Easy to learn and covers all of the bases. Very tight package, with vetted integrations and few bugs. Almost never have issues. Reminds me of the Apple ecosystem in its simplicity and reliability. Also I understand that the way they have built the server/pc standalone client/ and web client is the most reliable/secure. I simply wouldn't trust to do business with a web only version, because most of our issues over the years have been internet short outages. My manager started using Sitelink in 2007 had only used a computer in a very limited basis. She was able to rent units and do basic functions on day one. My appreciation to the Sitelink Team!

Cons

The only thing i'm going to say is a pro as well as a con. The price seems like alot sometimes when i think of the free or low cost options. HOWEVER; Sitelink has maintained a fixed price for us i'm going to say since we upgraded to the Web version. I believe this was 5-6 years ago. Most recently they even lowered the monthly fee thru the bundled promotion. The biggest thing is this, all of the integrations, pricing assistance, competitor tracking, website integration is beautiful as well as the credit card billing. I know these have allowed us to get and keep more customers per month, at a higher rent and longer stays. At my pricing level that only take 2-3 units to pay for the service. Again seems like alot but i can't imagine where we would be without this nice package. Recently swithed my credit card processing to Sitelink Merchant Services based on my trust of their partnership.

Cons

Sometimes you have to dig pretty deep to find what you need. Its always there, but the amount of information it produces can be overwhelming.

We started out with stand alone Site-Link then went to the web edition. Stand alone was great but l love the versatility of web edition.

have a daily close that gives me all the information I need to make out the Deposit for the next day. I can make out my deposit slip and check it against each transaction

I can't think of anything I don't like. Well some times I have customers who change there mind about moving in or moving to another Storage unit and if it's the next day it's very hard to fix these kinds of things with out the help of Site link tech support.

It's all inclusive, no secondary vendors to complete the process. US based provider with English speaking techs. Our previous provider was clearly from India and most of the time I could not understand the person on the other end.

I love using myhub because you can access reports and tenant information on any device. I also like that customers can reserve units online and make payments too.

Cons

What I don't like is someone's I'll get to the end of a transaction and it won't let me finish the transaction until I refresh the system. What would also be helpful is if the prorate calculator was accessible from the inquiries and reservation screen.

My job and goal is to assist my customers, not stay on the phone with tech support and hope my software doesn't crash. Lately, we had allowed ourselves to lose sight of the mission. Sitelink has allowed us to re-focus on the customer and not on the computer.

Pros

Its stable. I don't worry that it will be plagued with bugs and "fixes". The technical support team that supports this software is the best I have seen. Quick and competent without the TS attitude that pervades the territory.

We started this business about a year and a half ago with a "if you build it they will come" type of plan. Not knowing where to go we chose Sitelink Web edition literally the day before opening because we had just found out that the original PMS software we tried would not operate as autonomously as Sitelink with our entire system of systems. I called, and we were setting it up in a matter of hours and it was working smoothly from day one. Since then I added the merchant services to my bundle, saved a bundle, and have a PMS that is truly integrated top to bottom, and makes the back end part of the business easy. Truly it is a great program. Add to that the features that you start to learn as you get more familiar, and add to that the incredible customer service for learning new tricks as unique things come up, and Sitelink cannot be beat. There is not anything more that I could ask for. I'm a 100% satisfied customer.

fully integrated, and customer support is key to maximizing the benefit from the software and all it's power. And pricing. Very competitive and fair.

Get it, use it, learn it, and it will make running your business easier no doubt. Then you can focus on sales instead of back office.

This software helps so much with keeping us doing the stuff we need to do at the store. Their work so hard to make sure the software keeps up with needs, customer service helps me get things fixed and answers my questions every time. The market place helps so much with knowing what the best integrations/systems to use for things like online auctions (storageauctions.com) and tenant insurance (storsmart).
Would 100% recommend this to new store, current stores, large operators and everyone.

Really nothing, maybe aesthetics. Does look slightly out-date but that doesn't matter.

I have used this software for 3 years or so. I have been in the storage business for 12+ years. This has been the best software I have used. It is simple to use and easy to train new people to use.

After thirty years in business with our own spreadsheets, ledger cards, etc., etc ., etc. it has been a huge relief to utilize Sitelink. Our elderly dyslexic manager is assisted by technical support when necessary. They reassure her and she becomes totally comfortable with each transaction. There have been no interruptions of service and we have now begun using the automatic credit card billing which is working smoothly. The report functions make life a lot easier as the information is totally coordinated and history readily available. Hearts and flowers to Sitelink!
