Been using Heartland at our business for a year and a half and have had no major issues.

Also, their pricing is beyond convoluted so I have no idea what I'm paying for, but I do sense my rates rising.

When we started Heartland worked fine compared to our old processing company. Then I found out I could get a much cheaper alternative.

The integration process is super easy and support is also very good. We never had any problem with them in the past 2.5 Years of integration with them.

Heartland was great for a payroll company. It provided many details, notifications, and great tools.

It's a great tool to be able to take payments and allow people to make payments online. We have had great success with integrating the platform onto our website.

Overall, it is a great software but we just found something else that was better suited to our company.

It can be difficult to go back and find transactions in the system.

Heartland debits fees from our account and then doesn’t deposit the sales. This problem has been occurring for two months and Heartland has shown no interest in fixing the problem.

They provide complete test cases and test API to verify and implement a solution.

We were charged for 3 months after attempting to stop our service.

Costs are about the same as other payment processing I've used. Customer support is the most helpful and would even come around in person when I asked them to.

We were told no monthly fees and no contracts.

What I liked most about this software is the ease of use.

I think my favorite feature is being able to email/text the receipt straight from the platform. This creates seamless communication with the customers.

Of course, this is because I am receiving money but it is also because I feel assured that Heartland has done it's job efficiently and effectively.

Heartland is the source of our biggest problem right now, and we’re a restaurant during a pandemic.

They have quality service and support. They have easy to understand billing and statements and have kept a competitive rate.

Customer service has been top notch with clarity and ease of communication. The system is easy to use also with payment processing and deposits.

We’ve been shut down in one form or another for over 12 months and having Heartland hold back 100% of our credit sales during this is seriously catastrophic.

Switching to Heartland: one of the worst mistakes we’ve made.

I love how easy it is to pull our check stubs and read them.

When I called customer service it would be at least an hour to deal with them. For each area of information... refunds, statement, charges, there are different logins.

Dashboard and reporting are difficult to use. We were given two different websites to login to, but never given training on where to look for transactions and reports.

Overall been very happy with Heartland Payment Processing. When we have had questions or concerns, their customer support has been exemplary.

I find the payment processing at heartland very efficient, it provides easy refunds and corrections at relative speed.

They worked with us on getting it working using our particular setup. Never have a worry about equipment or software working.

Payment processing works well, but the user interface is confusing and cumbersome.

Also, My website is easier to use from a cell phone now. It's worth paying the extra money for each month.

Customer service has always been helpful if I had a question or issue. The software has integrated well with my QuickBooks software so that's been helpful as I'm learning QB.

I had trouble with my labels in the printing mode. I use a different size of label than they have on file.

The product is incredibly user friendly, can be used on any device (not tied to a license on one desktop machine like other systems) and support is great.

But we are happy with the functionality and effectiveness of Rain. The fact that Rain is continually improving and updating their system has only increased our satisfaction over the years.

Disappointing compared to the hype of what you are getting.

Lack of integration with shipping companies. Cumbersome uploads to QuickBooks.

They are constantly improving, updating and listening to customer suggestions to make their product even better.

I've had at least 2-3 calls to different technicians ag in a row where I just felt bad for even calling.

Rental, class, and automatically populating the website is a big help for us saving time. It hasn't really made us more money as advertised.

Overall, my experience has been quite positive. In fact I have recommended them to other local business owners.

The word processor can be a problem when trying to change font sizes.

I was using another online web service when I heard about Rain (Like Sew). I like what they were offering and the price was great compared to what I was paying.

RAIN was super helpful in transferring our data from our old POS system (TRS) to their system. It has been easy to train staff to use the system.

Label printing is terrible. No dimension option for shipping calculations.

I like how integrated everything is - purchasing, receiving inventory, online and in-store transactions. Adding new products through almost any of my vendors is fast and easy.

The layouts were clean and simple. The customer support was generally responsive when we needed their help.

I want to upload my own pretty newsletter and not have it get distorted. Using the newsletter feature on the site is boring.

Tech support is wonderful. They are constantly updating and improving the software.

I love that they're always improving it and take our input.

My longtime email address was now blocked from sending. I had to purchase a business email and the integration was rather difficult.

We have recommended the product to quite a few other shops and want to make sure that it fits their accounting needs as well.

Product is very easy to use. It's nice that I can put items on my website right from the product page.

The fact that everything was based on the internet meant that we couldn’t use the cash register. This led to a loss of sales.

Happy, just keep the costs down. Remember we are not selling iPhones or over-priced clothes.
