The printer and Ipad are constantly going off line at one of our locations. Not sure what the problem is with that feature.

I recommend that you invest in a sturdy and trustworthy swivel stand for your ipads - guests of all heights appreciate it.

We were looking for a low cost and innovative option to register our guests.

It can be costly as you go up, but what can i say, it's worth it. There is no a real con that i can complain about.

Sometimes a user will use the back button and it will log out, then I have to assist in re-logging in and it is sometimes a inconvenience.

The customer service reps are friendly and responsive. It runs an automatic background check on everyone that scans into the building which is a great security feature.

The speed at which a background check can be done and the small cost has been a huge benefit for us. We have been using the system for 9 years now and I always recommend it.

Students are somewhat confused the first time using the system, but once they get used to it, they become very quick at using it.

My overall experience has been great. We started with KeepnTrack before they were sold and it was put as online software, so they have come along way.

Since it is web-based, we can check it out of the building during fire and evacuation drills. It also keeps track of student tardies and the student history is easy and convenient to access.

Everyone scans the magnetic strip on their license instead of the bar code, so we waste a LOT of time fixing it and explaining to people that they scanned the wrong thing.

Merging feature is pretty cool, just need to be extremely careful. There is no going back once you have merged profiles.

KeepnTrack is a cloud-based visitor management software suitable for institutions such as schools, hospitals, retirement homes and summer camps of all sizes. The key features of this solution include visitor tracking, visitor background checks, reports and automatic staff alerts.


The KeepnTrack sign-in feature can operate without user oversight. Visitors scan an ID, such as a driver's license, their information is recorded and a name badge is automatically printed for them. Information can also be entered manually.


KeepnTrack runs background checks using the information collected and staff can be alerted via email or text message if the check reveals a criminal record. Users can access visitor sign-in and sign-out records, set user permissions, create lists of pre-approved visitors and monitor visitor activity from a web-enabled device.
