UpKeep is a web-based compterized maintenance management software (CMMS) and enterprise asset management (EAM) solution with a focus on mobile use.
The system is accessible on desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones and is suitable for maintenance departments with multiple technicians consistantly working in the field.
The system offers core maintenance functionality, such as asset, inventory and work order management and preventive maintenance to create service schedules.
Users can see a tasks overview page showing upcoming work along with due dates, criticality and assets or workers assigned to each. When adding new tasks, users can include detailed notes, a color-coded priority rating, images, assets and users.
The mobile application gives users the ability to create projects, assign work orders, manage assets and more. UpKeep is designed for small to midsize companies in any type of industry.

I really liked the simplicity to set up and the functions of the app. The customer service was excellent as well. Longest I had to wait for a response was 20 minutes. Very responsive and honest. The app though was the main selling feature. It organized our PM schedule. I also really liked the ability to incorporate the temperature monitors into the program. Over all an excellent solution for a company that has lots of equipment to keep organized and running. The team or person who designed the app or hired the team to maintain has done a great job.
The cost for us was the biggest issue. We are a small business and it was really more than what we need. If there was a flat cost it may Help. The cost per Tech was the aspect that hurt us. We have 5-6 guys who I need to be able to delegate tasks too. Unfortunately because of the way the system was set up, there would be cost for each user. I really only needed them to see the tasks they were assigned to. I didn't need them to have full tech abilities in the program.
The other aspect I would love to see is on the "recurring schedule" section. I would love to see an option for monthly, but on the same day Of the week. Example: the first tuesday of each month. Second Tuesday of each month. Actually could solve this easily by adding a "every 4 weeks" option in this tab. The second issue was not a huge issue and was able to work around it.
Give the software a good solid chance. Don't just look at it once. Dig into it and contact the customer service if you have questions to see if you can work though issues. The customer service with UPKEEP was great.

I run a small online business, and when I first started, I really had no way of efficiently managing all the orders placed by my customers. I did not want to invest in an expensive ERP system, as all I really wanted was a solution that was simple, but powerful enough to help me run my business.

The guys over at UpKeep have not been branding UpKeep as a solution to help business owners manage tasks and orders, but that's precisely what I've been using it for since the day I downloaded it from the App Store.
It's truly an amazing application. If you run a business, and you need to assign tasks to your employees on the go, UpKeep, in my opinion, would be the perfect app for you.

Our facility has used the Upkeep App for about nine months now. It has been a great asset for us. The app has greatly improved our maintenance process, from reporting issues all the way down to reporting back on completed work orders. We see a much better turnaround time from issues reported to work completed.
We have absolutely no issues with work orders being lost now. We also have a more structured process, because of the app, of reporting work issues and we don't have multiple entries for the same issue.

It's fast to create work orders, edit them, and follow them through to completion. We use it across multiple iOS devices from iPhone 4s to iPad Pros and it works effortlessly. Updates quickly as work orders are edited. Great to be able to include a photograph. Simple to use for everyone in our organization.
Haven't yet figured out how to put more than one photograph on a work order. Still, because we're all running iOS devices, it's not difficult to take additional pictures and send them out as needed. An extra step, but not onerous. Can take a while to update if you haven't been working on it for a few days such as over a weekend. Tech users (vs. Admin) cannot edit work orders: they can create and update status.
I suggest really looking at apps and programs closely to ensure that they really do meet your needs as closely as possible. While it's not too hard or unreasonable to change your operational requirements slightly, it's best to get as close a match as you can. We ran through several apps and programs trying to adapt to them before we found UpKeep.
