I have simply not seen any other home health care software that is easier to use than Axxess.

Pretty well! As a growing agency, people need to focus on growth and market development. The last thing on our minds is where to capture the data for which we are developing the programs, and fortunately, Axxess offers such flexibility.

It is a very well-designed product given its simplicity and ease of use. It is reliable, and the customer support is always there when we need it.

Customer service does a great job in handholding and helping clients resolve their issues. When we first started with Axxess, I got used to the customer service crew and was very reluctant to talk to anyone who was a new hire. However, over time, I realized that Axxess trains their new hires very well, and they are as equipped in resolving the issues as the older crew.

The product is very easy to use. It offers comprehensive functionality for community-based patients. It's very intuitive and has a logical flow within the application. Even a person with no knowledge of computers can maneuver around it without getting stuck.

They could be more aggressive with their upgrades.

Recommendations

Users need to compare this application with others in terms of ease of use, data integrity, compliance coordination, and full customer service. By data integrity, I am referring to how the data flows from one section to the other and how one data element matches up with other data elements. It is very important for HHC software to allow accurate point of care data to be entered while keeping the logical flow of information.

The online tutorials and webinars that are offered are great for new users. The forms that are used are user-friendly, and the schedules are easy to read and follow.

This product lets me go from one screen to the next with ease, and there are several ways to get to the same area.

From the most experienced to the new user, this system is top notch and very easy to use.

I have never had a problem finding the answer to a question, either through online support or person-to-person support, even after hours.

The software is very user-friendly. All areas walk you through the task. The webinar training is offered on a rolling schedule, making it very convenient during the orientation process for new users. The software integrates with other processes for billing ease, cost reporting, and OASIS submission. It truly is a one-stop shop.

You can not schedule a visit unless that discipline is a user. For example, an HHA's schedule can be used without having that specific home health aide as a user. We are a small agency that really can't afford to put every employee in as a user, but it would be nice to have that schedule electronic.

Recommendations

Demo all the other vendors and software and have a checklist of what you want out of the software.

It is easy to use with tab bars, being able to leave windows open as you navigate to another page. There are multiple ways to find what you are looking for. They have tutorials on any question you have.

Very well. It's easy to navigate, and there are a lot of reports that can be generated.

It has the potential to drastically improve documentation and compliance with regulations. Clinician input on the format is instantly obvious in the presentation. The persons involved have certainly "been in the trenches" and know where the scheduling and documentation pitfalls are. Data is easy to input and locate. Schedules, recertification dates, and so forth will be so easy to track.

State of the art software

When we reviewed several software systems, we noticed that Axxess offered the feature that lets us open several windows simultaneously. That makes the software very easy to use. I don't have to close out a patient's chart to view other information. As a DON, when I get a call about another patient, I can respond with little effort without having to close the screen I'm on.

Functionality

We are completely paperless, and that's a good thing. I can work from home or anywhere. Axxess is a web-based software, so you can log in at any time.

The software is complete, well-designed, and easy to use.

During our software selection process, the fact that they have a consulting background was appealing to us. That's been very useful for our agency.

Solid Value for the Investment

The ability to open up multiple windows at the same time makes it unique. You don't have to go in and out to get around. It's easy to use. I also like the mobile apps. Our nurses love it because they don't have to carry laptops around anymore.

I have used three other home health software systems in my 18 years in the industry, and truthfully, this is the best home health software I have ever used. I wish they had a hospice product, too.

The customer support team clearly know the home health business. You can tell that these folks know what they are talking about.

Ask for recommendations. Talk to current customers to know the good, bad, and ugly. The truth is that no software is perfect, so you need to know what you are getting into. I typically won't recommend software, but Axxess really blew me away. I recommend the product and the company strongly.

Goodhope Healthcare is a fairly new agency. We looked into other software because our goal was to start using software from the first day we received our Medicare certification. Being new in business, cost and quality was important to us. We looked at and evaluated other software. We looked at their Terms and Conditions even after the trial period.

When the company is up and running, we will need a software that delivers everything and makes home health easy and affordable. Of course, being a new agency, we need a software company that will help us and grow with us. The other two systems that we tried cannot deliver all we needed.

When we discovered Axxess, the staff was friendly at first contact, which always make a good impression. They were able to meet all our needs, and they have been there to help and teach every time, even without cost. They worked us through everything and always reassured us that they could help with any issues that arose. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they are very supportive, and they are friendly to everybody. For any problem that we have had, they either have had the answer, or they have gone out of their way to find the answer.

With Axxess you do not need a large staff to run your agency, you can leave the country and still manage your company with your laptop. Axxess is user-friendly, you can learn Axxess quickly, and you care monitor every aspect of compliance issues with Axxess. We are very happy with Axxess and will not try any other software. We have found Axxess to be the best, and they have delivered everything that we have needed or will need.

I have tried so many software demos with free trials for months; nothing really impressed me until, I found Axxess in 2011 through a good friend Ms. Pat. I liked it the first time she introduced me to Axxess, it was like love at first sight. I was very familiar with Kinnser and I like their system but couldn't afford it. Nevertheless, Axxess surpassed my expectation. It is user friendly, you do not have to open and close each time you need to browse on a new page. You can have 8 different tabs open at the same time. So you can be working on two different task without leaving or closing the tab; you have the ability to multitask. I always tell my new nurse that we have a great system, its web-base and easy to use, that's one good advantage for our nurses!!!

I have reviewed Kennser and we used to use Craddle. You beat them both hands down; Kennser, because you do everything they do (except their med list is better than yours but even that has improved since we started using you) and your price is much better. And Craddle may be a good software, but the IT support is horrible. I have recommended your company to any one who will listen and when I start my own home health, I will be using you. You are still working on some of the report sections and I like the Medicare billing, but the other billing section is more complicated than it needs to be. Your IT department is top notch. I have never worked with better. I have given several suggestions which you have considered and implemented some. You have a wonderful, fully functional company. Thank you.
