It is much more user friendly than other Home Health systems I have used. Help is more available with Axxess.

The same things have to be documented multiple places. For example, if you put in an order for a new medication, it would be nice if it automatically updated the med list and did an infection log if it was an antibiotic.

Look for how user-friendly it is for the field staff. Also it is better to have the office and field programs integrated as these are

Ease of operation, easy to learn, great support, nurses love it and we don't spend a lot of time teaching. I am so happy with the billing in this program, anyone could do it, trust me on this. Also, we had the DDE and they have made it easy to read and use. I am very satisfied.

The only thing that I would consider a problem was that I had to install Firefly to run as it does not like regular internet explorer.

Get it!, price is right for this spectacular product. My previous software was difficult for the nurses to learn and hard to bill. This program gives you the ease of billing that we all thought was not possible. It makes in house billing a reality.

It is all-inclusive and comprehensive. It ensures that the user is in strict compliance with Federal, State and Institutional guidelines. There are an assortment of checks and counter-checks that minimizes error and gives the user a panoramic view of the patient assessment

Not applicable. No error of significance. However, I do look forward to the time Axxess will be as comprehensive to Medicaid as it is to Medicare.

Physical Therapists cannot co-sign notes electronically, which is a Medicare requirement. Could also use some billing improvements, such as showing the exact amount owed (minus the RAP) on claims and the A/R instead of the total.

Recommendations

With web based software today, it should be easy to navigate and the software should do the work for you. Clinicians in the field appreciate an easy to use system.

A human being always answers the phone when you call Axxess. They have always been able to help us immediately with support issues. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

When you are switching from patient chart to schedule or other views, the chart of the first person in the patient list always populates. It is easy to forget to select the correct patient's chart again and thus start working in the wrong person's chart.

The woman who helped me was awesome. You have some very kind people there. Setting up a new insurance carrier was simplistic and I was able to bill with ease.

None of the forms are customizable. If you have two different branches there should be two sets of invoices etc instead of having to print an invoice and modify it. It's frustrating to always have to have a work around for something that should take 5 minutes.

UNDERSTAND THE SYSTEM. BE FULLY TRAINED. Do not expect too much, especially from the financial side. The reports do not flow together.

While the software addresses most of the functionalities we need to run the agency, there are other enhancements that can be made specifically on the reporting area. There are reports that I need as Administrator that's not in the canned reports.

Recommendations

Develop your own decision matrix to rate home health software and use your own criteria on what's important to you and your company - cost, ease of use, customer support, uptime and availability and functionality, etc. - while other software maybe better in some areas, you'll find that overall Axxess is the best and complete solution in the market.

They are available to assist with any questions by phone. We never have a rep that comes and sees us.

No rep that comes onsite occasionally, no updates to the 485 information. 485's have to be reread and corrected at the agency.

Liked this product because it used to be all inclusive for physicians portal and Electronic Visit Verification where as many charge you extra for all the things you need.

the fact that they decide to change the product with no notification and services that used to be included are not any longer, very deceptive. Bad business decision. If we hadn't already been through two previous software changes we would be leaving AXXESS as well.

Recommendations

Really doesn't matter, none of the software vendors actually meet what they promise this one included, at least this one is at least user friendly and still offers some of their services as an inclusive feature at least until they change it on you to get more money out of you.

The cost, the multi-window feature, and being able to view all claim history for all claims billed by patient.

Issues with payroll view that then leads to issues with time overlap, and mobile view of Agencycore is not compatible with all devices or computer screens.

Recommendations

Know what you'll be using it for. Would work for first timers or those who have low finances, but would not recommend for all agencies.
