It is designed to optimize workflows from entry to discharge. The platform automates all clinical routines, increases billing efficiency, improves staff productivity and provides tools that help you manage your clinic effectively. Ratings Breakdown 5 Ease of use 5 Value for money 5 Customer support 5 Functionality Pros: I like the most is that it is certified by ONC-ATCB for mental health and substance abuse practices. Consider that the program is suitable for almost all consultation settings, from small clinics to large behavioral health centers or abuse of articles with multiple locations. Cons: I like the least is that the treatment for substance abuse is delicate, and for many approaches, the perspective of the work is case by case. Ratings Breakdown 4 Ease of use 4 Value for money 5 Customer support 5 Functionality Pros: Coming from a university environment, there are numerous obstacles involved in investing in such a significant piece of infrastructure like an electronic health record system. Our sales representative and their support team helped facilitate that process. Then, once we had finalized the purchase, the onboarding team began helping us customize the system. They were very collaborative and worked diligently to figure out how to fit our workflows into their system. They didn't expect us to simply change our practices to fit how their software works. Indeed, ClinicTracker is extremely customizable. We have been able to implement all our existing forms – from intake, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, progress notes, case management, and discharge summary. What is more remarkable, however, is the way we have been able to incorporate our assessments into the system. Initially, not knowing what an EHR should do, I began to push the limits of the program. Over time, I was able to build ALL of our assessments in the system. When I ran into problems, the Support Team was always available to help out. Rarely, if ever, did they tell me that what I wanted to do was impossible. Instead, they were always willing to help figure out ways we could accomplish our goals. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to interact with individuals throughout multiple departments of the company, from Billing to the Support Team, and I even occasionally spoke with the \[sensitive content hidden\] himself. These interactions were, without exception, cordial and supportive. Again, the mindset always seemed to be figuring out what they could do to facilitate and improve our experience with their program. Our agency adopted a model in which I would be the primary point of contact for all our staff when they needed help with ClinicTracker. Over the years, I've learned a great deal about the system. But frequently, there were times when I've run into issues that I couldn't solve on my own. Consequently, I've probably made thousands of requests to the support team. They have always been friendly and helpful - even if what I was asking was a rehash of something we had previously discussed that I had forgotten about. But even more than that, they have truly been willing to listen to our concerns and seriously entertain our ideas for how the system could better meet the needs of our clinicians. Over the years, I've seen continuous improvement to the system. And these haven't merely been minor cosmetic fixes, but represent significant improvements to that enhance how the system works. The transition from a remote desktop application to a modern secure web-based interface has been nothing but astounding. The engineering team was able to preserve all the original functionality of the program and restructure it into a responsive, intuitive, and easy-to-use program. Cons: The program requires a rather steep learning curve. We typically devote 4+ hours training new employees in how to use the program. Then, some staff require additional ongoing support, particularly if they are infrequent users and have the tendency to forget how to perform certain functions. An additional issue we've had is that creating custom reports and forms can be challenging. However, what we've implemented is probably beyond what most clinics will choose to do. Nevertheless, it does take a good bit of time, patience, and skill to set up custom forms and reports. Fortunately, for more casual users, there are tons of forms and reports already built into the system. The help section within the ClinicTracker team is quick on most questions. Ratings Breakdown 4 Ease of use 3 Value for money 4 Customer support 4 Functionality Pros: ClinicTracker allows for all documentation to be linked via the client file. This allows for audit reviews to be provided with ease. Cons: Unfortuantely, newly developed forms cannot be uploaded and modified in the system. When diagnosing, the system does not have a "met criteria" section. Some electronic systems allow for the diagnostic criteria to have a checklist associated with each diagnosis. This checklist associates with the diagnostic criteria identified in the DSM 5. This allows for the support to be provided and justified in selecting the proper diagnosis. Reasons for choosing ClinicTracker I was informed that I would be able to upload the already existing forms via PDF and develop them; however, that was not the case. Our forms come directly from the federal government and must be identical to the formatting. I have been using CT for more than two years now and yet it still continue to surprise me because I sometime come across things that it can do and I didn't know about. Ratings Breakdown 3 Ease of use 4 Value for money 3 Customer support 4 Functionality Pros: It's comprehensive and has features that is really useful on the billing perspective. The dashboard is a unique too to delegate task which I don't see often in other EMR system. Being able to create a duplicate claim is also underrated but pretty effective and useful especially when I intend to bill two codes separately for the same DOS, this feature is usually something you can only do in the clearing house system. Cons: We sometimes experience lag time especially when posting 835 payments. I have come across some posting errors that we need to correct manually. The 835 posting screen is not friendly but it needs getting used to.
