  • Pros

  • I was able to perform an upgrade of the system in about 15 minutes, all of which was well documented. Customer service has been great.
  • I like the idea of being able to allow third-party sellers to use the site. I also like the idea of being able to own the software and customize it to my needs.
  • Cons

  • Chances are, you won't be able to set this up on your own hosting provider of choice, so you'll be stuck rolling with their hosting plan.
  • Currently no feature that lets you mass-edit your categories and products. Needs more built-in features and options for payment and invoicing.

  • Givebutter has a great team of specialists ready and willing to help you through your initial configuration as well as your ongoing work with the platform.
  • It works perfectly, and has all the features we need: peer-to-peer fundraising; team and fundraiser performance tracking; and alternative payment methods like Venmo, digital wallets and paypal.
  • Cons

  • Sometimes it was hard to coordinate when there are multiple fundraiser pages for one campaign.
  • It is less intuitive to edit personal information and I got confused about managing different campaigns, and how to direct people specifically one campaign.
