For the time I had an account I never used it because it was frustrating and difficult to figure out HOW to... after I quit, the customer support was good at reaching out to me to ask why.

Sometimes the messages that you get about backups can be misleading. It will say that you have a certain amount set for backup, and sometimes it will be a number that seems really low.

Full-Featured Backup Solution With Good AD Integration.

Overall, the potential for the program, and the idea seems great. But unless you have a huge bandwidth or pay for extra it's difficult to use for a some business owner like myself.

Easy to use back-up plan, but upload speeds could be better.

Crashplan individual and family plan is. great.

Ability to set backup frequency and retention policies. Customer service is outstanding.

I liked what I saw, did some research, and decided to jump. It was money worth spent especially for the peace of mind it brought for protecting my files, pictures, and music.

Overall I think it's a great price and great product. Once setup, runs quietly and consistently in the background.

The CrashPlan administrative portal is fairly easy to use, and it has many great features.

I get a simple email telling me if the backup was successful or not. I recently had to use their customer support and their instructions were PERFECT.

Which it did for me when my iMac died and the restore I did from my Apple TimeMachine backup was incomplete. I had lost a bunch of files.

There is no easy way to cancel. I had to keep disputing charges with my bank until they cut off my account.

Data de-duplication seems to backup lots of files efficiently even if you re-organize your folder structures. Upload and download speeds are generally good.

Great once user's commit to configuring their backup.

The ease of use for deployment of the application to a laptop and or desktop is seamless. The dashboard is very easy to use and has useful information right on the main page.

Every time I have looked into this with support, it has turned out that the correct amount WAS set for backup, but I believe the email went out mid backup, and therefore gave a misleading message.

I used Crashplan for several years and found it to be an excellent reliable product.

Enterprise class features like (Active) Directory integration and storing encryption keys on-site while using cloud backup.

For the price it's one of the best offsite backup services. Speed seemed fine as long as you have a good connection.

Worse still, if you move or delete a large number of files in a short time the app treats your computer as a new device and starts charging you for two devices resulting in being charged double.

Strong encryption, compression and an easy to use interface make using the client a pleasure. Documentation is very detailed and easy to read and follow along.

We have been using CrashPlan for almost 3 years now and it continues to impress as an endpoint backup solution. The true beauty of it lies in its stealth, simplicity and reliability.

Overall though, I love CrashPlan, and recommend it to many people.

It is a good back up system overall and has a free version. It can back up an entire network from a windows server.

I like that iDrive is affordable and does not backup only certain types of files based on your tier of membership.

Drag and Drop facility is easy to use and helps to manage the files very easily. Features of IDrive backup is great, and the search function is helping in searching through a large set of files.

IDrive has saved me more than once since I purchased it. It's also reassuring knowing I can access some files if I am traveling.

I loved being able to handle backups for ALL my drives and mobile devices on a single account and the online interface is great.

I love that you can encrypt the cloud back up as well as your local back up and that you can create an ISO drive image quickly and easily on an external hard drive.

Also, a full restore of a crashed hard drive  can take days to do online but probably less than an hour from a local backup. Idrive has very robust phone and chat support.

I love the ease of use and retrieval of files and folders.

Fails from time to time, not sure why. Have to leave the computer on all the time and takes a long time to back up a small amount of files.

This system backs up quite well and on schedule. Less expensive than previous software backup systems.

What I like most about iDrive is that you can schedule backups as often as you need and backup what ever you need. I love being able to rest easy knowing my files are safe  every night.

Overall, I am pleased with this move. We had to find a new backup solution in a hurry after firing our old tech support outsource team, and this was an unbeatable offer.

Technical support was very responsive when I needed assistance. The cost of the product was very reasonable for the great features the software has.

I discovered iDrive after losing an entire issue. I spent days reconstructing it.

Tech support was no help in retrieving the files. Overall, the program feels constrictive, frustrating, and difficult compared to other cloud storage I've used.

I really like its ease of use, the speed of your server to upload the files and the simplicity of the interface.

The pricing annual made it a good value if the features and performance meet the needs. I did get responses back from CS as I needed.

Searching is a little difficult, but not much. Desktop version sometimes doesn't work for downloading but the on-line version is faster anyways.

Inability to manage local backups ( sync deletions) which can be done in cloud.

For about a week I see that the application stated an error due to no files to backup, so apparently, it stopped working for no apparent reason.

It can be used across multiple platforms. It integrates well with multiple hardware, software and operating systems.

The initial setup has been great, and much easier to handle than expected.

However, once I had installed all the requisite free software to make it work, I discovered that the online interface was easy to use.

Free version will backup your PC to a local drive and will also backup up to 5GB online for free. The cost of the paid version compared to the importance of what the software does is well worth it.

Customer support was fantastic and explained the options we would have under each plan.

They have good promotions for the first year which, if amortized, decreases the cost for subsequent years. Idrive really is an excellent value.

The configuration interface, for both the client and the web administration, is confusing and limited. I found a bug in the macOS client that made my us of the system very difficult.
