FMX is a great solution for us

Very pleased with the system and it's a great value for the money.

Pros

All in one system, Tech Support requests, Building Maintenance Requests, Calendaring all in one place makes it easy for the end user to navigate and our team members to keep track of everything.

Cons

I wish we had more control of some of the fields and could label them with our internal lingo.

Great Maintenance, Inventory, Event Scheduling and Reporting Tool for K-12 Districts

Established documented Preventative Maintenance Program Increased ordering efficiency with Inventory Control functions Increased work flow efficiency and documentation Customer Service is GREAT!!! Would like to have regular "Development Meetings", maybe every 6 months, with a FMX System Planner to explore potential ways to enhance utilization of current system.

Pros

The FMX system met the identified needs (Work Order Management, Preventative Maintenance, Inventory Control, Cost Monitoring and Event Scheduling) of the district in a cost effect manner and was positively received by the district's staff and community.

Cons

The "Third Party" Reporting function. Wish the FMX Team could support greater individualization in Report Formatting.

Functionality and Customization; Cost; Customer Support The FMX System stays true to what it was designed to do and does it very well. Implementation Team and Customer Service are GREAT!!! Ongoing follow-up from FMX Quality Team to support our utilization of products is excellent...especially as it is focused on helping us fully utilize our current system...not trying to sell us more things that I really don't need.

I'm usually the person initiating all facilities requests from our organization.

It makes it very easy for staff at different locations to alert me to facilities issues, and to follow along to know where we stand on resolving the issue.

Pros

It's very easy to use, I don't have to do much education with staff to teach them how to use it. I really like that you're able to add someone as a follower to a request, too.

Cons

I wish I could search requests by the person who put them in, or see the name of the person who put the request in next to the request itself. We also don't really use the cost or hours options, so It would be useful to hide those and better customize the lists of requests.

Very easy to use, excellent customer service

We mainly use FMX as a facilities maintenance request and project request software. Overall, we love the ease of use and the customer service.

Pros

Very easy to setup, easy to use without much training, and excellent customer support. No user account limitation. Set yearly cost.

Cons

Since this is a software for facilities, having floor plan option is quite necessary.

Reasons for Switching to FMX

MicroMain. Not user friendly. User limitation, charges us per user account. Need to send staff to training to use the software. Setup was complicated.

Perfect for K-12 Public Schools

Pros

K-12 Public School Departmental Supervisors typically have multiple, disparate systems for Technology, Maintenance, Grounds, Transportation, Facilities Reservations, and inventory. FMX brings all of this together in one easy-to-use portal.

Cons

There doesn't really appear to be any cons, especially considering the experience I've had setting up and configuring other helpdesk portals.

Reasons for Choosing FMX

FMX fit our needs perfectly without the need to use other systems to accommodate our various departments. Technology, Transportation, Maintenance, Grounds, Facilities, and Athletics can make great use of this product. Our end users appreciate having only one login portal for all of these systems, and they only have to learn one application to get the assistance they need.

Reasons for Switching to FMX

The "Sign In With Google" option was huge, and also the ability to accomodate the multiple departments within a K12 school district with tailored functionality for each department was critical.
