Pros:

It has really established itself now and the easy and seamless switch between desktop and mobile is a real advantage that gets used regularly by our team.

Cons:

I wanted to create an outbound only phone number recently, and besides the little annoying forms that needed filling out even for the nth new number, the biggest problem is that you can't have a number that just plays a message and then hangs up. You can configure it but then you also can't use the number. So the only solution the support could come up with was "play your message with a lot of empty air and then put a mailbox". Really unexpected that such a basic setup is not possible.

Vendor Response

Hi Marvin, Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! It's great to hear that your team is getting value from Aircall. However, we're sorry to hear about the frustration around creating a message-only outbound number that ends the call. We've shared your feedback with our product team. Pros:

Using Aircall is a breeze. It simply requires a one-time setup. I like Aircall since it is quick to load and has an intuitive interface for fixing audio problems. A softphone I once used took 20 minutes to load, and it was a real drag. I also appreciate how simple it is to use the controls. In my opinion, it has a great user interface. This is the nicest setup for me, and there aren't too many buttons.

Cons:

The entirety Aircall is fantastic. If I may provide a recommendation, it would be to enhance the functioning of conference calls. If at all feasible, I'd want to be able to end a call when I'm no longer needed, and I'd like a simpler process.of

Reasons for switching to Aircall

We've seen a rise in sales, faster response times, and agent productivity because to aircall's ability to keep in touch with all of our customers in a timely manner. As a result, we can keep an eye on agent productivity and make sure service isn't disrupted while they operate from home, a demand that arose in the aftermath of the epidemic.

Expensive, Unreliable, Bad Customer Support - Avoid at all costs

1

Overall, I would say that I have WASTED several thousand dollars on a solution that seemed like it had everything we needed and just FAILED to deliver.

Pros:

The product was easy to deploy. It checks the box on the features you want/need, but it DOES NOT deliver on any of them. System is down every week. All outbound calls are marked as SPAM. The support team is less than helpful. The call quality is HORRIBLE and has static across all staff members who use the system.

Cons:

The call quality is horrible for both outbound and inbound calls. The phone numbers are all marked as SPAM and their support team provides articles on how we have to fix it rather than resolving it themselves. The service is SUPER expensive compared to Ring Central or other platforms that have better reliability

Reasons for switching to Aircall

I was looking for better reporting, call coaching functions and simpler interface.

Vendor Response

Hi Garret, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry that you've had a bad experience with us so far. I see that you've been in contact with our team, so hopefully we can find a way to resolve your concerns. Concerning the SPAM issue you've been having, this is an issue across all VoIP solutions for one major reason: the carriers in charge of issuing phone numbers resell numbers that have been previously abused and marked as SPAM by consumers. Instead of retiring these numbers, they get resold to us and we only find this out when our customers let us know. The best solution we can offer you is to replace these numbers. You can work with your Customer Success Manager directly, if you choose to go this route. We hope that we can find a way to continue working together in the future. Best, Max from Aircall

Pros:

I like that it has a phone app as well as a desktop app as it helps to offer calls which suits our device preferences. I also like that it's easy to record and access recordings and transcripts.

Cons:

I wish aircall reporting was a bit more easier to understand. The only feature I'd like to see soon is outbound AI messages that would create more efficiency to our team.
