Pros
- Segmentation (allowing us to properly split our customers up and target them with appropriate emails). Templates: easy to setup, customize and ensure they look professional.
- I am a web developer and their API is fantastic to use. It is easy and straightforward.
Cons
- I was hoping to be able to jump right in with little to no instruction, but there are a few nuances that I was unaware of in terms of HTML code.
- Some parts of the UI are cumbersome and feel stuck in another internet era. Some services can be very pricey if you don't have a subscription.
Pros
- Easy to setup and cheap, scalable and integrated with AWS. It allows to configure every aspect to guarantee higher email deliverability.
- I love that is cheap, its pricing is really good, it has a bunch of integrations, through zapier (which is free, but can require a paid plan depending on your usage).
Cons
- It does not offer any option if you suddenly can't use Amazon SES anymore. Also, the branding on the email footer is a bit ridiculous in paid plans.
- There are no remarketing features in this software. Unable to track who opened or clicked the email.
