  • Pros

  • Comprehensive features and very easy for receiving parties.
  • The Proof of Value was easily implemented and moving from POV to production was done with help of Egress support. We implemented the solution step by step to minimize impact on the organisation.
  • Cons

  • Inability to forward emails to other people on the same egress system. Complicated set up process.
  • That it uses open office instead of Microsoft office for online for online editing that can cause problems with proprietary MS functionality.

  • The best part of SendGrid is the effectiveness of its API. The API supports import from almost everywhere and from any file types.
  • It is super easy to set up and manage, and also provides comprehensive reporting on how each email was sent and processed.
  • Cons

  • It is highly confusing, make some small mistakes in their confusing dashboard and get charged extra.
  • Ever since last September, we've had about a 1% error rate with Sendgrid due to random 406 errors. Based on what we've seen on the internet, we're not the only ones.
