  • Pros

  • Modern look, ability to progress our company smoothly from paper-based to electronic. Customizable forms are amazing.
  • As a software integrator and developer, we loved that Alayacare (compared to other home care softwares) had a rich and maturing API.
  • Cons

  • Limitation with API integration and automatic data updates.
  • During COVID our scheduling has been changing so much and we have been forced to change schedules every week.

  • The design is clear, patient's charts are easy to navigate. I like the Sticky Notes section so that team members can leave notes for each other that isn't part of the official medical chart.
  • Also they have great security measures to protect your account as well as customer service.
  • Cons

  • I also dislike some of the formatting on different forms (ie: some boxes for narrative responses are too small to read the entire response).
  • I have had trouble uploading pictures to a patient's chart (e.g. a photo of a patient's advanced directive) and usually have to sent to medical records team for them to upload it themselves.
