SharpSpring is a fully integrated cloud-based marketing tool that offers customer relationship management, marketing automation, mobile and social marketing, sales team automation, customer service and more, all within one solution.

SharpSpring can interface with any CRM on the market, so users are able to keep their existing CRM and the information contained within it. The system’s lead nurturing and scoring tools can track an individual lead’s page visits, demographics, and engagement. SharpSpring’s VisitorID feature helps identify anonymous site visitors by looking up their IP addresses, allowing users to see who is viewing their site, including their name and contact information. Other features include a Landing Page Builder and a Blog Builder. SharpSpring also offers a library of designs and templates for the user to chose from.

SharpSpring can be utilized by both small and large businesses in a variety of industries including advertising, insurance, engineering, telecommunications and more.

Great Marketing Software

The company had never had a CRM much less an email system platform. We are a very small company, so budget was a very large concern as well as ease of use and quickness to get up and running. The sales process was very open and easy. The training went extremely well. We were up and running our own campaigns within weeks of signing the contract. Any time I have had an issue, can't figure something out, etc, customer service has been awesome. They seek to understand what you are trying to do with the program, and the guide you though the process.

Pros

Quick and easy set up.
Easy to learn. Very intuitive.
Great customer service! Never felt like I was an idiot for calling. They really take the time to help you with your issues.
Very open to suggestions for new product updates.

Cons

The ability to edit photos more than we can.

All-in-one marketing/sales automation tool at a great value

Overally, we've been using SharpSpring for a few months and it's exceeded our expectations and we haven't hit any limitations with it. Glad to have a tool where all parts of sales/marketing automation exist and all of our sales/marketing data can be tracked. I'd definitely recommend it to an organization looking to get the most out of their sales/marketing teams.

Pros

SharpSpring mimics the best parts of other, more expensive marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Pardot, Act-On and Marketo. Their UI is better looking than all except HubSpot's, and the tool is just as easy to use. Their CRM migration tool makes it easy to switch from another crm like Salesforce while maintaining custom property and notes data. The visual landing page and email template builders are great to use and really intuitive.

Cons

There was a slight learning curve for a few of the tools, but that's to be expected for any new platform. Certain parts of the UI seem a bit old-school with some custom property options labeled as "boolean," "bit," or "text-input," but those are easy to get past. It's actually hard to pin point things that I don't like about SharpSpring.

Pros

The software usability is what we like the most. Once you have clearly defined what you want to do, it is very practical to implement.

Cons

If you do not master the concepts behind the features, it's a little tricky to follow, but nothing that will not be solved by giving a look at the support page. As a suggestion, a simple description could appear when hovering over the features.

Fantastic product at a fraction of the cost

Would recommend trying out.

Pros

Functionality. SharpSpring comes jam packed with all the features you could ever want in a CRM/Marketing Automation platform and are continuing to add more based on their users feedback.

Cons

The learning curve. You're assigned an Onboarding specialist upon signing for quite some time to help you get familiar with the platform. Reed, my specialist, was fantastic. However, with new features always coming out - it can be easy to fall behind.

Extremely Customer Focused and a great amount of features for the price.

Great. They are extremely customer focused when it comes to their quick response times to our support tickets, feature requests, and feature releases. They take care of you and you will be hard pressed to find something as good for the money.

Pros

They have a lot of features that other MA tools don't have for the price. They seem to really focus on technology for the companies using it. It is mostly out of the box tools, but they have a decent amount of API capability that we have taken advantage of.

Cons

It is mostly out of the box so it sacrifices some of CRM features and other out of the box features are a little less customize-able than some other, albeit more expensive, tools like Salesforce, Pardot, and Marketo.

Great Marketing Automation Without A Huge Price Tag

Overall, it's a good tool if you want to get started with marketing automation but you don't want to pay a lot of money to get started. With templates and support available, it allows you to dip your toes into the basics and set up automation that your business needs without much hassle.

Pros

Moving to a smaller company, we needed marketing automation and we found SharpSpring has been easy to use in building lists, workflows and much more. We utilize the built in CRM and we like the month-to-month commitment for SharpSpring as well. They have a lot of templates that make it easy to get started in building landing pages and such. All in all, it cost less than the competitors and didn't have a lot of extra tools our business knew we wouldn't need.

Cons

I don't know if I would consider anything about this software awful, but there are slight inconveniences we run into. For example, I've found that sometimes when we're making changes, it can take a couple minutes to update in lists and such. However, for the price we pay and the size of SharpSpring, they don't really bother me.

Great agency solution for Reseller Marketing Automation Platform to Small Businesses

Great platform, great business model for agencies fully featured. Entry point is massively high if you're a small business not interested in becoming a reseller.

Pros

An all-encompassing solution that covers everything from Campaign Tracking, Sentiment Analysis to Sales Reporting directly tied to campaign tracking.
Dynamic landing page content, dynamic emails and syncing directly into your emails are a great addition

Cons

White label isn't really white-label. The SharpSpring logo and Branding is littered through-out the platform, this reduces the white label claim massively.
The landing page builder is a 3rd party landing page builder and is super-buggy

SHARPSPRING IS GARBAGE

Pros

Minimal pros.it does have the capability to post social content, but its honestly crap.... so incredibly unreliable.

Cons

It is barely user-friendly.... The custom fields are trash and you can't add more than one address to their CRM section.
Its integrations are laughable. It doesn't integrate with gmail well and it's just honestly all around garbage.

Pros

We just switched from Pardot to SharpSpring and are saving nearly $10,000 a year with this move. SharpSpring is easy to use and has plenty of features you need for marketing automation, like email automation, forms, contact cards, lead scoring, etc. We can also use it for our CRM on the salees side (at no extra cost) and plan to do so, which will save us even more when we get rid of our current CRM vendor.

Cons

There are a few features missing from SharpSpriing that Pardot had, such as being able to require someone to use their work email address when filling out forms. Right now, people can use things like gmail and yahoo, but that doesn't help us identify where they work. It's a small thing, though, and definitely not something that would make me go back to Pardot, especially at this price.

Sharpspring has been so helpful to me

Fantastic. I would definitely recommend this software.

Pros

It is very versatile, and was the only system out there that could cater to all of the very specific needs of my company. Customer support is also exceptionally quick and helpful. They are always updating the software to adhere to the needs of their clients, which is something I think is very important as email automation becomes more anymore popular.

Leaning in to internet marketing & automation like the "big boys"

Overall marketing automation on behalf of clients without a CRM - the CRM is included. Tech support not needed frequently, but when it is needed, it is fast, proactive, and solves problems.

Pros

The fairly steep learning curve was made relatively easy with help every step of the way. We took advantage of the onboarding process with SharpSpring by doing an hour+ session with an expert twice a week for better than a month. One of our senior developers, with years of experience using HubSpot, found SharpSpring every bit as robust AND more flexible. His experience, combined with pricing at under a third of HubSpot's model (and month-to-month vs. paid-up-front annually) made SharpSpring a "no-brainer" decision!

Cons

Visitor ID is still a bit primitive. SharpSpring is fairly candid about that. Still a great time-saver...but could be so much better!

Great experience with a solid platform

Pros

Email integration and the help we got for the API was excellent. Just the very idea that SS was willing to help connect the platform to anything and if they never did it before they were willing to make it work. That's solid client care.

Cons

Landing page creation wasn't as solid as we had hoped but seems to be getting better with useable templates.

It has a good platform that is easy to use despite some minor failures, but it solves email marketing in an automated way without any problem.

Pros

Your support guides you in every step in any problem, without doubts I can not rule out that detail. Automate email marketing by making better sales, increasing productivity and expansion within the market. It is a good Manager of customer data and the products that are created, offering customers the ability to integrate into sales.

Cons

To add the data of the contacts or of a product is badly optimized, much has to be done in order to obtain and save all the data. Some other bugs of the page that with time must be solved since I have seen that little by little the developers of SharpSpring have solved some problems, but nothing that is resolved by reloading the page.

wonderful way to make email shout outs more uniform and effective!

Our smaller team has found it an excellent resource so far, but expansion is our goal in the medium term so it will flower once we expand our client contact base.

Pros

The features for making the emails that are sent out really effective at attracting customers is extensive, and the follow up statistics are excellent in helping us narrow down our marketing and product sales. We are looking at expanding our base and knowing whats received best is an excellent advantage.

Cons

Price point is high considering we won't use the full amount of contacts as of yet, that are allowed for the base plan.
