  • Pros

  • Charm is a user friendly, patient friendly, online EMR system. It has many different features that help to automate many tedious tasks and help take the burden off of smaller clinics/teams.
  • I heard from a colleague that Charm had fabulous customer support and that is what made me give it a try. I absolutely can say that I have gotten excellent customer support from Charm.
  • Charm has been a wonderful addition to my practice. I use only the medical records portion of it because I am happy with the practice management software that I currently use.
  • Cons

  • There have been problems with sending eprescriptions - The software can not locate the particular medication and you must know the generic as well as the trade name on occasion to get it through.
  • Minor problem exists with entering patient email addresses. Software sometimes flags as invalid email address with anything that ends in.
  • Net then got back and re-enter the correct email address. Customer service has yet to fix this problem.

  • The simplicity and the easiness to navigate the system. It is a very good system for a small practice, the super bill with all CPT code is very helpful.
  • Practice EHR has been very helpful in my transition. Their support has been excellent.
  • Sensitive content hidden] has been instrumental in helping setup and adjust template management for our clinic within Practice EHR. He is professional, courteous and friendly.
  • Cons

  • As of April, I still don't have a system that I can use to see patients. Implementation is sloppy with many errors and customer service is terrible.
  • Inability to reverse checked in patientSometimes error in printing paper claimsWe have to request changes to be made in templates We cannot easily add list of tests/orders etc.
  • There are upgrades that needs to happen in order for this to do so and the turn around time is long. While using the software in remote places, it looses it signal and freezes.
