Pros:

All in one to manage my team. I really like how easy it is to access all calendars and apply filters to understand my team's schedule easily. Also, the amount of categories and subcategories makes it easy to track expenses.

Cons:

I wish there was an option to filter time zones so each team member could see practically their schedule.

It’s a very limiting old UX/UI product. Our CS Ops convinced us we needed Connecteam and just by the looks of it we could tell it was needed.

Organized and mostly easy to used

This is still a new ish system for our company, and we are still learning the ins and outs but we haven't had any issues with bugs or the system crashing, so that's a plus.

Pros:

I like being able to see and edit scedules easily, as well as creating forms and chats for the team. Subtasks on the schedules are great because we can see how busy each person is during the day. The time tracker is also great because we can see and remind eployees to sign in/out due to their in time activity on the app. Also great that they can adjust their own hours in real time before thwir timecard is reviewed for the week.

Cons:

Unless you are an admin, you are not able to create subtasks on other employees scedukes. This is tricky as we like to make notes for each other and if something needs to go on there, non admin haave to ask admin to add it. The other frustrating thing is the view when signing in from my phone vs. The computer. On the computer, I'm automatically signed in as admin, whereas in my phone, i have to click into being an admin before doing anything on there. It would be better if it just signed me in as admin on my phone automatically. There are too many plan upgrades needed when we want to add things like extra subtask spots, which makes it seem like the value for the money doesn't seem worth it all of the time.

There weren't enough features (such as forms, timecards, and chats) all in one spot and it was harder to keep track of everything on multiple apps/platforms.

Stress Free Organization

It makes it easier to run my multiple teams. They have different schedules that need different documents. And all can be found in one app.

One app for all my needs. It’s schedules. It also is a time clock. And it allows me to upload documents needed.

Cons:

That I didn’t use it as soon as it was available to me. It would have made my life easier sooner. But now that I use it, I won’t stop!

Great system for streamline your business

Overall I’m very pleased with how the system operates and have had a wonderful setup and transition team. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing similar software for their business. I do, however, think the pricing and tiered structure make it more cumbersome than it needs to be. While there is a certain amount of “ala carte” selection and modification to the system to suit your needs, it can feel daunting and exclusionary for those needing various options.

Pros:

I like how all facets are one one system. Time tracking, payroll, reports, learning, a communications are the key components to our business. The various facets have streamlined our business and made scheduling much easier and rescued the amount of time needed for scheduling drastically.

Cons:

There are a few design elements and quirks to the system that I feel could be improved. Slider and navigation bars could be bigger, they are hard to get a hold of. Some buttons (like a save button) are covered from the AI assistant. Some features are not available in the tiered pricing, and I believe that if you have a good product, your shouldn’t need to parcel out sections of it as an “upgraded” feature when it’s a simple tool that helps improve business and performance. By making price tiers, you’re artificially creating demand that should already be included in a finished product. It’s a way to upsell a customer that can over complicate the product for their needs, or keep important items out of reach for the customer that needs them.

Belfry reps never made contact, THERMS was a nice product but too advanced for some of our personnel and more inclined for public safety services.

Neither of the two systems had all the features we needed to grow and improve workflow. Homebase was good for timekeeping but that was it. GuardsPro was a means to an end, but it was cumbersome and not as user friendly or customizable as CT

Connecteam is Amazing!

We have loved using Connecteam, the training videos, the support and how they listen to the needs of the customers and are constantly updating the features to make it better and easier.

Pros:

We love that there is a small business plan. The system is easy to learn and set up for business owners adapting it to the needs of their business. Our staff find the mobile app easy to use with the information they need in the field to do their job. The new AI feature is great and the templates are very useful. We like how we can share the live schedule with our clients to see their bookings and when the shift tasks have been done. We have rarely had tech issues. The integrations with other software platforms is amazing, with new ones being added all the time. The platform has excellent visual accessibility. The layout is clean and is simple to navigate, the colour palette is easy on the eye.

Cons:

When we switched from the small business plan to the paid version, it was a quite a shock that you have to buy each plan separately (Operations, HR & communications) especially because the small business plan has everything included so it felt like a sneaky trap and with the price charged in US $ it's quite expensive in the AUD conversion. We also pay our staff per job, so we are hoping there is an update soon for this option. It would be great to be able to export the courses and blank forms for a back up option or to send to a client.

Don't know how we functioned before Connecteam

Overall I have loved using Connecteam and don't know how we managed before without it. The customer service team is always very helpful and take their time to walk me through anything. The app itself is great and easy to use from a staff perspective giving us one place to have our schedules, tracking of information and staying connected with each other. Great value. I have recommended the app to our sister locations as well.

Connecteam is not only visually appealing but is very user friendly. It has solved our scheduling and communication issues by giving my staff one place to find everything.

Cons:

I do wish there was more options when it comes to writing an update like changing font size and options to use more emojis.

Great team solution and peace of mind!

Smooth testing - to quote - to committing and onboard, we've thoroughly enjoyed switching over! This has been the silent problem killer for time tracking, calendar sync and keeping all our diverse teams together.

Very easy set-up, without a ton of calls or configurations to get started (we went through 4! hour long calls with a competitor and still didn't even get an onboarding date.) After committing, we had 2 excellent, to the point, onboarding calls, and in 20min we even tested out our user flow through mobile. Our team loves the chat and event pages for easy sync on what's happening around the office. Billing has been flexible according to how many seats x month, which is great. Connect Team customer support is very responsive and easy to get a hold of, thank you!

Cons:

Sometimes if you onboard a user as a collaborator, and move them to admin there can be some glitches in finding the right permissions to give them full access - but we were able to easily smooth this out with their customer service team. We had the same kind of issue with a test acct email being included into the full account, but these were all minor details that were promptly resolved.

Connecteam has helped solve our scheduling issues.

So far it has been great. Customer service has been great. The tutorials have made learning each of the module very simple and easy.

It has helped with our scheduling and crew communication. It keep everything up to date in real time and I am able to access everything right from my phone, which is important because the managers in my department are always on the go. Connecteam has so much more to offer than I first thought and I can't wait to implement some more of its tools.

Cons:

It is not quite geared towards construction companies and having crews of people, but more to shift work. I would love to see better features for companies with crews and construction like project.

It was more comprehensive and offered tools to help multiple departments across the company. Though I would like to see connecteam expand some of their features towards construction companies as well. They could really draw in more business this way. So many companies have 10 different apps and programs to try and fill all their needs Connecteam can hit a lot of those needs

Connecteam offers an easy-to-read schedule layout and accurate time tracking for all staff, making it especially useful for monitoring labor across our different departments. It provides instant updates whenever shifts change and is mobile-friendly, giving employees quick access to their schedules and requests.

Cons:

The main downside we’ve encountered is that Connecteam does not integrate with our specific version of ADP, something we didn’t realize before implementation. While this creates an extra step in our process, our onboarding manager has been excellent in helping us find a smooth and reliable workaround.

The primary reason I made the switch from WhenToWork to Connecteam was the need for a truly robust and integrated labor tracking solution. While WhenToWork handled basic scheduling well, it lacked the sophisticated time clock functionality and accuracy that my business required

Great for a Small Business with lots of helpful features!

It's great, interesting, lots of features and heaps of support. There is a lot to learn from it, and is fantastic for all sized businesses.

Once you get used to it, it's simple to use, great functions. Being a small company, the small business plan is perfect for us and offers so much. I really like the support we get, with the help it is instant answers, which is very useful when starting out.

Cons:

Sometimes clocking in and switching between jobs is not that easy for the team to understand, but we are getting there.... Also when clocking back into a job from a break - the time starts from 0 rather than continuing on from where it left off - ( but do understand its a time flow thing), that on the small business plan, when we have a team member leave we have to delete all info on them rather than archive - its a shame that a user cant just be archived - removing them as a user but still able to add on to your 10 user limit. Also that admin takes up a user space also... but we are doing work arounds.

It was too expensive, especially with exchange rate, and a lot of new products were not available to us, even though we had to pay same subscription fees
