About Sfax

Sfax is a cloud-based fax server software designed to help businesses in healthcare, real estate, law firms, financial services, transportation, retail, manufacturing, education and other industries share critical data through fax. Key features include audit trail, compliance tracking, archiving, delivery tracking and electronic signature.

Teams using Sfax can manage administrator privileges to grant and remove access, unique user identification, 256-bit AES encryption and other protocols, which help ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA. The solution stores all documents in Tier III and Tier IV colocations, which are protected by multiple security layers. Additionally, administrators can set access and permissions, generate reports, and manage users according to organizational requirements.

Sfax allows managers to handle contact lists, which can be shared with team members and organized into groups on the basis of several factors. The fax API facilitates integration with various third-party systems, enabling users to manage all fax-related activities using existing workflows.

Pros:

Very user friendly software. Also love that there is a driver option to print straight to Sfax.

Cons:

Only con is that it’s a little expensive. It’s one of the best faxing softwares out there but the monthly license fee is pretty steep

Difficulty sending faxes

I am a solo practitioner with over 40 years in practice. I have an extremely busy psychotherapy practice. I book between 30 and 40 appointments a week! And , I have never before bothered reviewing any online organization. But, this is different. If I can save any of you from wasting your time with this service it will be worth it. I had great difficulty sending faxes. Whenever I clicked on "compose fax" all I would get was my in box. I had to play with it for 5min just to get to the fax cover page. Then, finally when I got tired of playing with it I decided to call for tech support. I spoke to Alina. I told her I was using Chrome. All my stuff is on Chrome. The tab which was supposed to be "Compose Fax" had my name and fax number superimposed on top of it. So when I clicked on it all I got was my inbox. She was unable to help me correct the problem! She also said she had other users complaining of the same problem and spoke to the support team and none of them could correct the problem either. So, this is totally unacceptable! I will switch to a another provider of fax service as soon as I can spare the time.

It was the first one I saw when looking for a HIPPA compliant fax

Cons:

Support was unable to solve my problem and I now need to spend my time researching another provider, setting it up, and notifying all the insurance companies of my new fax number. It is a time sink! Don't waste your time on this system!

user friendly, I did like the que part after you sent a fax but it just didn't go anywhere. Signing up was easy. Just not efficient to use.

Cons:

EXTREMELY SLOW. It had taken 1:45 to send a fax. to let me know that the fax had FAILED. Then it took another 45 min to finally go thru. Contacted customer service I was told that if someone else is using the same fax number then the first user will complete their fax before the next.
