Easy to navigate once custom fields are set up. It integrated with our proprietary software.

Too many fields. We only used a select few.

Recommendations

Work with a Bond representative up front and get all the bells and whistles ironed out and Give it a trial run for a while.

it is web-based and auto populates the city and state once you put in the zip code.

It meets basic functionality and need. Help desk and account manager are responsive.

Likes Least

Many bugs for our version: 10.2.2 and no easy way for us to upgrade. Lack of customization options and forced into a certain workflow that doesn't make sense for our business.

Recommendations

Model we use is outdated. Seems that SAAS model would solve many of our issues.

The search system and its speed. The system's ability to sync with other systems. The ability to log comprehensive notes on various personnel and of tracking conversations.

The difficulty in removing or making clearly obsolete incorrectly entered information.

Recommendations

This system is a great repository for tracking various projects and associates. A uniform way of naming inputs is very important in keeping organized and finding the correct information, as the information will build up over months and years of use.

Not really sure I have anything great to say about this product. It does it's job, I suppose.

There are quite a few things that I do not like about this product.

1) This system is very outdated.
2) Customer Service takes days to resolve issues.
3) Most of the Bond features are not supported by any of our new users.
4) When doing a keyword/location search, I can only log about 10 candidate calls before Bond freezes and I have no option but to logoff and log back in.
5) You can NEVER delete profiles... EVER!
6) Reviewing candidate notes in the journal can be a very long, remedial task. There is no way to review more than one note at a time.
7) You cannot store jpeg files in Bond. The image will not open.
8) Setting Follow Up tasks are a joke! There should be someway that this can sync with your outlook calendar.
9) Unable to customize dashboard.

Recommendations

Do your homework!!! Make sure that the system you are looking for has ALL the capabilities you want/need.

One thing BOND does well is provide MANY fields for various information. Every page has multiple fields as well as sidebars to even more fields! It's helpful to have anything you want "at-a-glance" rather than buried inside a journal note. I also like that it will automatically parse the resumes uploaded. Saves a bunch of time, and is fairly accurate with it, too. I think it interacts well with supporting software, as well. When combining an email from Outlook or uploading information to another database, the steps are simple and the information doesn't get jumbled.

The number one problem I have encountered is the search feature not working correctly. As a resource for recruiters, I would hope that if I search for a key word, every resource with that keyword would appear. This has not been the case. I have done a search in BOND, found no results, did the same search in an online resume website and someone in my database appeared. Why did that candidate not appear in my original search in BOND? Isn't the point that I don't have to search online if the candidate is in my database? Another major problem I have experienced is inconsistencies with completing the actions. This means, when I click the button that is supposed to acquire a new document, I must click 3 times before the action is completed, or when I hover over a sidebar, the second menu doesn't appear, or appears incorrectly. It's very frustrating because it always happens at an inconvenient time; sometimes I don't realize it happened, and end up clicking something irrelevant. IN addition, I have reached out to BOND Support to resolve this issue, and they basically said I am out of luck. So there is no customer service, which is a definite con. And if you want to search for a name, it is on one page, but searching for an email is a completely different page. It seems inefficient. After using BOND for some time, I am able to utilize it easily (with the exceptions of the above), but I remember it was hard to pick up at first. This is due to having so many fields and menus, there are a lot of pages to search through to find what you are looking for, and how to get to these menus is arbitrary. Sometimes you click, or right click, or hover, or click only the name, or only the label.

Recommendations

BOND is not terrible, but not great. It definitely has it's drawbacks, so I feel it would not be worth the effort of navigating the issues without also having some seriously amazing features, which it does NOT have. And then with terrible customer service, there is no hope.

We have sustained out recruiting efforts on this for years, it is now antiquated. The best feature is the API so we can sync with an inhouse SaaS app. Beyond that I think that it does not always adequately meet out work flow and the bidrectional API would be huge.

API is currently not bi directional, response in support calls is sometimes slow. Requirements for Java and flash make support difficult.

Recommendations

Make sure you look look at the SaaS application be very careful of additional costs for service and support and understand the requirements

It stores information that needs to be stored for resumes, job orders, and clients.

Customer service is slow and it is hard to get any help when you need it. The product is not user friendly, searching for candidates is not always accurate with results, and you have to click into so many different areas just to get to the information that you need. You also have to click into every journal note to see the last information provided about that candidate and the system is full of glitches.

Recommendations

I would be sure to evaluate several different software before making a decision. Make sure you know the features you would like to have and that you have the capabilities to run the software.

In addition to only being "supported" on Firefox, the company doesn't alert you to upcoming changes. We spent a week tracking down an issue where the server certificates had expired but there was no email, pop-up, or call stating this would happen. It wasn't until I installed a fresh version and saw the new certificate number that I realized what had happened. We lost around 50 clients that week.

Recommendations

Stick with a more Professional company. If you are under 1000 employees go with TrackerRMS. More than 1000 try them or Bullhorn.

This is the WORST ATS I have ever used.
You have to click so many different screens to get the info entered into the system. It is VERY cumbersome and not user friendly.This software is awful. Out of date. very difficult to use.
It takes so long to enter a job order.
They cant do different timezones for interviews.
Billing is a PAIN.

Recommendations

Ask your sales reps and recruiters to use the software for a few weeks before purchasing it.

Adapt easily combines a CRM tool and ATS that is Outlook based. The timesheet program is embedded right into our website making it simple for candidates to submit timesheets and for clients to review and approve them. Potential new candidates can easily search for open positions and submit their resumes with just a few clicks. When we started our company, we needed software that was scalable and could grow with us. Bond has been there every step of the way as we have grown. They have been terrific.

Recommendations

Talk to current users and users in similar situations to you (start up companies vs. established companies). Make sure the software can meet your needs not just now but down the road too.

Excellent service. From the initial phase of contact until implementation and the go-live. I have used Bond Adapt products for 16 years. Bond AdaptSuite is the most comprehensive and user friendly product.
