Great for Running a Small Business

Pros

I love that this system allows clients to use credit cards which helps us to feel safer with less cash on hand.

Cons

The set-up process can be clunky and challenging but after you figure it out, it's smooth sailing.

Perfect software for RV Parks!

Pros

-Accessible from any device that allows you to connect to the internet! (So when you're away from the office, you can still make reservations.) -Team members can use at the same time on different devices. -Cost-effective -Easy to receive distribution payments from Reserve America -No separate C/C machine needed, take C/C payments right through the reservation -Report options -POS setup available -Guests can make reservations through its website which offers a lot of exposure to your park - in addition to Guests being able to contact the park directly and having your team members take reservations via phone or in person/walk-ins -Support reps are always helpful, prompt to respond and will go above & beyond to find you the answers you need if they do not know it themselves. Our client services manager has been great to work with. She listens to her customers and customizes her guidance to the specific needs of the park's situation. This is important to us because every park operates differently and has different needs. -The (help) support is always answered pleasantly, promptly and they are always able to help. This is very important to a business/industry that often times needs answers/help quickly.

Cons

-The initial training videos are decent for the basics; however a more interactive training program would benefit parks greatly! -I do not like that some things cannot be changed by the user (park staff/managers/owner), and have to be submitted through a support ticket. -I believe some parks would benefit from having their vacation RV/Cabin/Park-Model rental units available on the site. We have not found a way to make it work for us by having them listed in this reservation system, so we do use a different system for our "rental units".

Great software for the campground

The software is fairly new to us and getting comfortable with it

Pros

Setting up the software was easy, easy to track reservations, less phone time for staff, easy for front gate staff to use

Cons

Need improvement for changing campsites (when a guest wants to move to another site). There seems to be some confusion when changes occur

ReserveAmerica has helped us significantly increase our RV park business

Pros

The site has national exposure since it is used by so many government-owned campgrounds. It has given us much more exposure, increased our traffic and eliminated the need to have a manual reservation system in our office.

Cons

The videos provided for employee training were poor quality, so it was difficult initially to get well trained in the system. Initially the phone support was not up to my expectations, but that has improved significantly.

Makes running a private campground very easy, less cash to handle, writing in reservations Just easy

Pros

The ease of seeing who is staying with you, who is checking in and who is checking out at a glance. The POS system is great and easy to use, plus being able to accept credit cards means less cash on hand.

Cons

I do not have any issues, initial set up was a little frustrating, but once that is completed it is pretty smooth sailing.
