About Evite

Designed for small to large non-profit organizations, Evite is a cloud-based platform that helps streamline event planning through attendance tracking, digital invitations, automated reminders and custom branding. The software provides various functionality such as pre-made templates, keyword search, online surveys and guest database.

Evite enables businesses to organize and manage virtual events through video chat, fundraising, gift cards, RSVP monitoring, performance analysis, co-hosting, personalized logos, data export and guest lists. The centralized dashboard allows event planners to design digital invites using text inserts, stamps, animations, electronic envelopes and custom fonts. Additionally, Evite lets invitees locate the event address on Google Maps and add the details to their personal calendars.

The platform offers mobile applications for Android and iOS devices that allows organizers to remotely handle internal and external communications, upload social posts on the event feed, create invitee groups and receive feedback from the guests. Live to invite with EVITE!

Phenomenal. I tired 3 other apps and they were all terrible, slow, and buggy. This one was great off the bat. So I waited until 3 days before my birthday to plan my party. Admittedly my procrastination here was short sighted but it was only because I was avoiding having to use an annoying app that would take more time than I wanted. Once I broke down and tried this I was amazed at how simple and intuitive this was. Then I felt dumb for procrastinating lol. The next party was planned much more in advance thanks to this app!

The simplicity in the set up of the app. The attendee management was awesome. Imported straight from my contacts. I was going to use some other application on my desktop, but it required emails, so that was a no go. The notifications were on point too.

Hmm, not really anything.I have no complaints about this app.

Honestly I can't recall the exact names of the three other apps. They just showed up in the search results. But I do remember they required too many steps before I could get to the attendee invite portion. This was was a 3 minute process to get started.

Need to eliminate drop downs - just show the details to the guests!

Overall good experience. Evite needs to change the layout of the invitation so it is easy to see important information without drop downs. I should not have to send out multiple messages to guests on how to read the invitation!

Pros:

Easy to track and contact guests Love the "What to Bring" feature for potluck, but wish it was easier for people to see - too many people miss it and you need to send out too many messages as reminders and instruction on how to read the invitation.

Cons:

To see details about the event, reader must click on a small "show more" drop down. It is not necessary and most of my guest miss it. It leads to confusion and guest miss out on important info. Evite should just show all the detail without having to search for it or click on a drop down!

Try out evite. It’s worth it

I enjoyed it from both a host for an event as well as someone who has been invited through evite. It’s a great tool for easy fun

I loved being able to make a fun invitation and send to family’s who address I don’t know. It was easy and great having this platform as an option

Cons:

Not the biggest fan about advertisements through the process. I just like getting what I’m needing not having to see ads all the time.

For small local events, easy way to track RSVPs

I use Evite 8 to 10 times per year. I host local events and want to keep track of the RSVP count. It's easier to have Evite automatically send out event reminders.

Pros:

Good email delivery overall. Some will always go to spam but Evite has been used for years and most people are familiar with it and have it whitelisted.

Cons:

I find it tedious to add RSVPs manually if I'm using it just to send out event reminders for those who verbally RSVP for an event.

I prefer Evite's interface. I also don't want to charge my registrants a fee, so I don't need that capability.

An effortless and fun solution for managing all kinds of social gathering events

Prior to discovering Evite, we used to have to create new whatsapp or google groups for each upcoming event just to have a place to discuss event ideas and share photos. Evite provides a much more comprehensive solution that covers all the core components of the planning and invitation process. I no longer have to deal with multiple obsolete groups no longer useful after events have passed.

Pros:

As a member of the non-profit community, I tend to have a natural affinity and soft spot for services that have programs to raise donations for social intervention programs. Evite does this with it's donation feature that allows event organizers to encourage guests and attendees to give to selected causes. So yeah, I adore Evite. Also, their digital invite cards are quite fun to create and customize.......makes me feel like I'm in arts class once again.

Cons:

It would be great if Evite integrated with dedicated graphic design software which would make it easier to create more complex personalized invitations and party paraphernalia.

Evite is a wonderful solution to online event planning

I've used Evite multiple times, from baby showers and weddings, to corporate events and fundraisers. Evite has simplified the invitation and rsvp process as well as communication between host and attendees.

I love being able to create custom invitations to match my event theme. Evite also makes it simple to track the number of attendees, declines, and those in limbo. They also allow communication and updates between host and attendees as well as seemless event registry.

Cons:

Evite is great, although I would love to have a little more customization when it comes to invitations. However, they still have a wonderful selection that can cater to any event and style.

I love that you can track who all are invited to an event that you created. You can manage who is able to attend, who can’t attend, and who hasn’t decided yet. You can send messages to the group who is attending if there are any updates or changes in plans.

Cons:

I don’t like that everyone who is invited has the ability to see the entire guest list and see if they are attending or not.

Great for studio event invites

This software has been our favorite way to send out invites to our events and parties at our dance studio! The invites look really professional and Evite is a trusted name for our clients.

Cons:

We’re not able to make as much customization to the templates as we’d like, but it’s usually not necessary since their templates tend to look really nice.
