Amazing asset

Amazing time working through issues with [sensitive content hidden] as I setup our farm in Farmbrite. Very knowledgeable and quick to get fixes out that are possible

Cons:
Although they do have an on-line option there were a few reasons I couldn’t use it requiring a 3-party POS system

Absolutely Loving Farmbrite

I have researched 4 to 5 different software options besides our manual way of doing things and this is the only all in one software. I highly recommend the product. My search is over so I can get back to farming.

The ease of use and the ability to get the software up and running. We went from 5 goats to 30 in 2 months so we found quickly that tracking animals was very important. I like that the software works with goats and allows us to track our registration, breeding and weight gain as we are a Boer goat farm. I also like that the accounting software is integrated with the expense of purchasing animals. Save on entering information.
Cons:
Would like a percentage option in the custom fields because running a registered livestock operation it good to track the percent Boer. This is very minor item and I was able to put in an enhancement and got a response right away.

Ease of use and virtual meeting with a human to demo the software. Free trial that if purchased you didn't have to re-enter data. You could work on the live system with your data during the free trial.

I couldn't manage livestock, equipment and crop inventories along with the accounting in the software.

Farmbrite integration of all it's modules is superb! Accounting, Selling, online store,Inventory invoices and CRM all are incredible. Coupled with a comprehensive Grower functionality for Vegetables, Row Crops, Orchards and other farm grow items, and a Livestock Management Module with individual animal details, group management, flock management, grazing management and a feed management system, it is the obvious choice that Farmbrite should be the #1 choice for any farmer seeking solid performance and capabilities
Cons:
I like real pictures of vegetables or fruits and nuts vs icons. But even with that I can use photos if I choose in my profiles of plants...not really anything is least liked by me.. this is just a personal preference

A couple were using old tech that didn't offer the ability for a farmer to input actions or information while out in the field working. All had either one concentration, growing (often commodities) or livestock (mostly cattle) some software had more complex functions for one enterprise over Farmbrite's offerings, however, the other software programs would always fall short of having elements such as solid record keeping of transactions, accounting, or outsourced functions that make it more work for the farmer.

I needed both management of Livestock operations and Grower operations and no other program has those features worthy of modern farming practices!

Data. If you take the time to enter items you will not be disappointed. Graphs, flow charts, individual animal profit/loss really helps keep tabs on running a business efficiently. No more guessing or assuming.
Cons:
Difficult to figure out program. Like others have said its not too user friendly in the beginning. I didn't extend the free trial because of that but after trying other programs and not getting the data I wanted, I went back and bought the year subscription. It's worth investing the time to learn the program. Some enteries are hard to figure out what they are asking for like in inventory etc but once get the hang of it, it's fine

I wanted more detailed data. I came from a dairy farm that used PCDart. That program was amazing for dairy cows. Herdboss was simple like pcdart but didnt have the reports and data i was used to in the cow world.

Easy-to-use cattle management software

This is a fantastic cattle-management software with other options for ranches that have more than just cattle. I found it very intuitive and clean.

I went through numerous applications and software options before finally finding one that is both easy to use and tracks the right items. I also don't have any strange buggy issues like in so many of the other ones -- AND it has an entire accounting section to track your assets and liabilities, which is exactly what my boss wanted. I also love that you can import a .csv file to save time!
Cons:
It is a little bit clunky in some places and not everything seems to update when you update one screen, but I can work around that.

The ease of keeping track of accounting including uploading picture of each receipt. Also really like how intuitive and all inclusive it is for livestock info including pedigree, breeding, medical info.
Cons:
Graphs aren’t as easy to interpret. I wish they were a little easier to group but this could be that I’m not as familiar with them.

We are a certified organic berry farm, and this product is dynamic enough that we were able to implement it to work for our operation. Our operation is a bit specific and finding a software product that works for us has been challenging. Farmbrite fit the requirements and continued improvements have ensured that we will continue to use this product.
