About Pixelied

Pixelied is a cloud-based graphic designing tool, which helps businesses of all sizes create branded designs for blogs or social media, re-touch images, replace backgrounds and more. It lets professionals resize, flip, merge or brighten images and add noise, logo or frame to photos.

Supervisors can create a workspace for every project using colors, designs, files and settings and invite team members to work collaboratively. Designers can create mockups for apps and websites and utilize in-built illustrations for landing pages or software. It allows professionals to customize backgrounds using filters, blur, rotation, crop or shadow functionalities.

Pixelied enables designers to secure images by applying a watermark, letting them add text and borders to the watermark and adjust it using the opacity slider. The solution is available on a one-time basis and support is extended via email.

Pros:

Pixelied is a really convenient powerhouse of tools that combine multiple platforms into one. I'm surprised by the speed, the overall UX/UI and ease of use.You also get access to a variety of mockups, although I would have liked to have more credit card sizes for my work, I can deal with that. (The actual credit card size isn't right if you take an existing image).And more.. you can also convert image into different format with their tool. Which is convenient to have all at the same place.But what I like the most is the tutorial and knowledge base which is incredibly helpful for any novices using that kind of software.

Cons:

Wrong sizes on some mockups like credit cards, but that's all for now.

Pixelied - The image editor that needs no learning curve, yet can do wonders

I have tons of Image and Video editing software and when I come to Pixelied, I am pleasantly delighted to see its ease of use because many of my younger staff gave up learning when facing a power-packed suite of software. Fortunately, Pixelied showed me the light and in return, I showed my team The "Pixelied" Light. We are all happy and they are more productive now.

It is so simple to use. With its user-friendliness, I saved lots of 'teaching time' on my staff who can become productive almost instantaneously with Pixelied.

Cons:

I hope its Background Remover tool can allow users to remove or keep a certain part of the background, especially on the minute details. It would be great if users can have a marker to indicate/draw the demarcation for remover.

Reasons for choosing Pixelied

I'm more drawn to Pixelied's Roadmap ([SENSITIVE CONTENT]) that excites me. I'm certain that I bet on the right horse.

Reasons for switching to Pixelied

Their development team seemed to vanish as useful features are gradually disappearing. Many promises but no updates. Our Support tickets aren't replied to or answered at all. It is another closing chapter in a "From Hero to Zero" story. Now, their API to Background Remover is expiring and no one acted on it. Many grandfathered users, like me, have little choice but to seek alternatives before their ship submerges.

This software is pretty intuitive and easy to navigate around.

Cons:

This tool is honestly hideous. The user interface looks like a piece of software I would run on Windows 95. I'm baffled they made it look this bad. In 2021, I expect a certain aesthetic with SaaS tools. Also, if you're going to try to be a Canva competitor (because they are, as they made it seem like its canva with similar layout and features) then really step up the game. I heard of this off AppSumo and my colleague purchased it, but I played with it, and I honestly felt it would be a huge downgrade to use this product. I'm convinced these reviews are from people who got additional licenses if they wrote a positive review. I mean that honestly. Simple things like being able to search illustrations is not a thing. You have to choose the category and then scroll through them. I want to type in a topic area and find illustrations that can meet that search topic. This was annoying. Also, I couldn't get the border thing to work with illustrations. In other tools, you can drag an image from your desktop ONTO your canvas and it will show up there. Not with this this tool.. Again, good effort - but just not there yet.

Great software for making Social Media posts and general graphics for posters etc

Great!! I'm a big fan and it really does save me a lot of time when creating social media posts as I use it pretty much every day for work.

Pros:

The user interface was very clean and it just seemed very intuitive to use and I do also like that the company sends out updates and tips in their email communications. Just a great program to have which I find very useful.

Cons:

There's not a lot to dislike about this software to be honest, if anything I was say that I seem to have to click out of the project I'm working on quite often when I need to open up another project. I do tend to open up a lot of browser tabs though and so this actually helps me to focus on one project at a time more.

Reasons for choosing Pixelied

Pixelied had a better offer on as there was the option to sign up for a lifetime deal when I was looking for this kind of software. I did also end up buying Crello later on when a similar deal became available as both have great features and offer a few slightly different ones, but I must admit I do tend to use Pixelied a lot more than Crello as it just seems to run better for what I generally need and I tend to just use Crello when I want to add in videos or animations mainly. It's nice to have more than one option though so if you already have a similar program to Pixelied then don't discount the value of picking it up as well as I certainly don't regret having two options.

Pixelied provides an excellent way to create great social media graphics at an affordable price

I do a lot of work with social media so I have several online graphics and content creation programs that I use to graphics for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Pixelied is stable and fun to use. Unlike some graphic editors, Pixelied has never made me pull out my hair.

Pixelied is very well designed. If you know how to use vector and pixel graphics editors like Photoshop. Affinity Photo, Paintshop Pro, etc., you will be able to master Pixelied in less than an afternoon. Pixelied also offers a nice selection of stock images and other design elements. For the price, Pixelied is an amazing value.

Cons:

I really cannot find any big cons with Pixelied. It is a very nice program. If I was pressed, it would nice if it offered more stock images, but this is not a show stopper and for the price, I cannot complain about what the programs offers to users.

Reasons for choosing Pixelied

Corel Draw is a nice vector graphics program but it is far more expensive than Pixelied. I have found that I can make social media graphic images that look just as nice as those from CorelDraw and save several hundred dollars.

Strong alternative to Canva

Pixelied is a nice alternative to Canva. It is much newer and doesn't have anything like the amount of features of Canva but it is considerably cheaper and has a much simplier pricing policy. Its realitively easy to create nice looking layouts from scratch even if you're not a designer but there are also a large number of good looking templates available. It's clearly in active development so hopefully it'll be much closer to Canva in a year or two featurewise and ease of designing.

Templates - good selection of layout options for all kinds of uses not just Facebook and Twitter Templates - many nice looking templates available and new ones being added frequently (weekly I think) Design - resizing the templates and downloading the finished images in different sizes is quick and easy Background remover - great for images that just need the background removed Fonts - easy to import fonts that be used across all designs Custom images - easy to import and use custom images Mockup tool - really nice to be able to add all kinds of styles and designs within existing mockup templates Teams - can easily add members to your team to work together

Cons:

Layers - can't show/hide different layers to try out different styles/layouts Layers - can't see / select different layers so often have to move existing designs to reach the part you need Branding - can't set branding colors or logos, basiclly no branding abilites Colors - can't set a selection of brand colors to use, every item needs its color inputted manually Background images - can easily search images but can't replace background images with new ones which is extra hard because there's no layer control either so sometimes the entire design needs to be taken apart to get to the background. Pages - can't have more than one page per design - pages are nice to be able to create multiple alternatives for the same project Fonts - allows duplicates and can't delete them once they're imported

Reasons for switching to Pixelied

Pixelied is much cheaper and has enough basic features already that it's possible to create some nice looking designs.

Pixelied - The Best Social Media Graphic Design System

Honestly, it has now become our go to social media graphic platform because the designs fit / work perfectly!

Pros:

I like that the templates and sizes actually work and fit properly on social media platforms. We have used other systems that gave sizing / templates that looked good but needed resizing / adjustments / fixing to actually fit in the real estate of the social media posts. It's truly a "design and done" system!

Cons:

Although the interface it very similar to other online image editing / design systems, there are some tweaks that would help make things even easier. These are MINOR things and after a bit of fiddling around and having a team member ask tech support, the "minor issues" were resolved.

I like the easy access menu and all the tools are easy to find and access! Also, the platform is super fast and responsive (something that impressed me honestly!). I use it primarily for quick edits and mockups! the Remove Background feature is particularly interesting but still needs to be improved! The team is also dedicated to the project and the roadmap is clear. they always work on new features!

Cons:

I expected to find much more ready-to-use templates! and I wish they added more AI credits in their pro and pro+ plans. But talking about the platform itself, there is nothing in particular that I don't like. it is a very solid product.

It is affordable and has access to stock photos as well as some useful AI. Ease of use after working with Canva i know the functionality as they are very similar. Has room to grow but good value for money

Cons:

There is some right click functionality that i am missing that is available on Canva as well as some fine tuning on the AI. It might just be me though. Not too used to using AI.

Wanted to move away from the subscription and as so many people use canva you can spot the designs. New softwre. New style
