"The only con that I can think of that soundcloud possess is that you have to have a monthly or yearly subscription to get the most out of your account."
"The proliferation of spam accounts was particularly bad, and I don't remember ever anyone contacting me on that regard, despite my numerous complaints. Why didn't I leave? Because in 12 years, all my production had been uploaded and shared through their system. But then, when they changed their AI policy in Feb 2025, I finally left, losing in the process all my links, comments, download contacts etc."
