Experience
Years in role: 9
Location: Austin, Texas
As a Buyer Advocate, I engage with approximately 11 small and midsized business owners on a weekly basis, assisting them in identifying the most effective software solutions. By understanding their unique challenges and needs, I simplify the selection process from a vast array of options to the top three to five tools in a single conversation.
Expertise
Through tailored consultations, I focus on evaluating the software needs of businesses in my areas of expertise, which include:
- Business Management
- Project Management
- Manufacturing
- CMMS
- Medical
Navigating the software market can be daunting, and each conversation uncovers the challenges small business leaders encounter. That’s why it’s gratifying to share insights that genuinely help them find their way. My favorite thing about being a buyer advocate is connecting businesses with software that helps them grow and thrive.
Education
I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, as well as a well-established background in social work, retail, and call center management.
"Matt contacted me quickly and was able to recommend several vendors with products to meet my needs. This saved me a lot of time and effort. He even provided resources to assist in my evaluation of the vendors."
