Low code is the future, latenode is now!

Excellent, easy to setup, reliable. Nodes were easy to setup, helpful AI bots too!

The option that few know

My overall experience has been good, but you do need more technical knowledge than with other similar tools because their documentation is not extensive. However, I am not afraid to recommend Latenode because it simply works well, does what it is supposed to do, and the price is better. It is just a matter of time before it makes as much noise as other similar tools.

Pros:

Latenode has many apps to connect to, the most common ones are there but there are others that I had no idea could be on Latenode and yet they are. Obviously the price is an important factor, it is cheaper than its competition.

Cons:

The documentation for setting up certain connections can be very sparse. The documentation still needs to be improved. Being new, there aren't many people trying out Latenode and you can't find a community that makes videos or tutorials about it. However, I think it's just a matter of time before Latenode takes off.

Make is very good, but I wanted to try more options and I found Latenode, which is just starting but has a bright future.

Zapier is very limited, it is simple but you can only do simple things

Better and and more cost effective than Make.com - but tough to get there:-)

I’m looking for an alternative to Make.com which i'm using on a daily basis. I'm going for ease of use monthly cost. I do think that Latenode is a grate alternative

Flexibility with simplicity

Very nice experience. I was able to prototype something quickly to convince a customer that we can use the software. The UI/UX is clean and the integration to other API is very flexible.

Pros:

Its flexibility allows it to cover more complex cases with integrations for WordPress and QuickBooks while still enabling me to build most of my prototype without needing code. It is also not expensive compared to Zapier that I have also tried.

Cons:

I did not like that it asked for my credit card even for the trial period.

Reasons for choosing Latenode

I did not have the flexibility I needed with Zapier. In addition, the pricing model scared me and searched for a cheaper alternative.

A Great Platform That Performs Above Its Price Point

Overall, I am very impressed, especially for the price. Very easy to use once you get over the initial learning curve. The interface is basic but very usable. Also, support is great and very responsive to my questions and support request.

What I liked most about Latenode compared to the competition is that I did have the ability to write code and create custom nodes. Most other platforms are strictly no-code, which for me really limited what I could create with my scenarios. I also liked the AI function to assist with writing code. It has been years since I wrote anything besides a simple script, so it was good to have some assistance within the platform when needed.

Cons:

The documentation and training videos are not on the same level as the competition. Make for example has a great training program to really help a beginner to get started. A training program like that might have saved me some ramp-up time on the platform.

The price and also the ability to create custom nodes in Javascript with the help from the AI assistant. Also, technical support was superior.

There are some issues with inputting Japanese, but they can be avoided.

I have been using Make.com until now. I was able to migrate the scenarios I created on Make.com to Latenode without any trouble. Unfortunately, I had some issues typing Japanese characters, but I was able to get around this by typing in another app (such as Notes.app) and then pasting. In Japan, no other no-code tools are known besides Make.com, but if this Japanese input problem can be solved, it will be able to surpass Make.com.

I really like the pricing model of Latenode. Other similar no-code or low-code tools make you pay per automation, but Latenode instead charges for the time you use it. For anyone who plans to create many different automations, then Latenode is definitely a great option.

Cons:

I wish there was more videos and articles on how Latenode works. When I just got started, it was very hard for me to learn the basics. There should be a 1-2 hour long video that goes through everything a beginner needs to know in order to start using the system.

I wish I migrated sooner.

So far, so good. I initially planned on building my system in LateNode, but I got sucked into the hype and promised "ease of use" of the other platforms, and they turned out to be a big waste of time. For my specific use case, and experience level, LateNode is the s#!^.

Pros:

The best parts of using LateNode are the user interface and the code editor. They make creating automations so much faster and less frustrating. If you're interested in building or testing automations quickly, consider writing your own code. In my experience, building an automation in LateNode with the help of the code editor took less than half the time and was far less frustrating than building a similar one with Make and n8n. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for advanced and semi-advanced users, LateNode is the shhh!

Cons:

I wasn't thrilled about not being able to use my own OpenAI API Keys in the OpenAI Node, but now I get why they decided to include it in their pricing. It is what it is!

Reasons for switching to Latenode

Make.com is not for serious people, and n8n is just re-Okay, just kidding. I just found LateNode to be much more effective for my particular use case.

A promising alternative to Make, with affordable pricing and innovative features

So far, my experience has been good. Latenode shows ongoing development, offers an excellent entry price, and includes features that demonstrate how even newer and smaller applications like this one can stand out in a niche that’s increasingly competitive, dominated by Make.

I found Latenode to be a viable alternative to the well-known Make. I was genuinely surprised by its entry-level pricing, which is significantly lower than Make’s. This factor helped me decide to give it a try, and so far, the experience has been excellent. The AI feature for creating nodes and JS code is a fantastic addition.

Cons:

The number of native integrations and the quantity and quality of available tutorials could be improved. These limitations are understandable given that it’s a new tool, and I believe this is something that will improve in the short term.

Reasons for switching to Latenode

I appreciate having the opportunity to use a tool that can almost entirely replace another market-dominant option at a much lower cost.
