About Planner 5D

Planner 5D is an architectural 2D/3D home designing solution that allows users to create floor plans and design layouts with virtual furniture in 2D or 3D mode. Planner 5D utilizes snapshots to capture interior plans and convert them into HD visualizations that show colors, shadows, and lights angles. With a library of 5,000+ pre-built items, Planner 5D will always provide the right item needed for any project.

Users can use the built-in 2D/3D editor to arrange, edit and apply custom surfaces, material, colors, and patterns to furniture, walls, and floors for any design style. A program worth recommending

I definitely recommend the program! Thanks to him, many families got the design of their dream place. I can't imagine designing without this program. It is easy to use and very intuitive. You can create a professional project for a client or a project for yourself. Huge selection of materials and equipment.

Pros:

A huge database of materials, textures, devices and furniture. Additionally, the ability to create your own things using good tools.

Cons:

No program for computer. I have no further objections.

Very Easy to use it’s gives you a wide range of space to design

Cons:

A lot have been locked, the cars are mostly outdated and the pool design is very few and the partition glasses should have different design and colours

For a Mom doing her own Remodel

Absolutely awesome [sensitive content hidden] in Customer Service was one of the most awesome customer service people I have ever worked with. Very patient and thorough they did not give up until I was sorted out. I love this app. If you do this for work I would say offer it to your customers to play with their layouts then show them what you can do it would be a powerful tool in that way. Also if you have any questions or concerns I am going to ask for [sensitive content hidden] you should too

Pros:

I love how easy it is to use. I can make my own plans and share those ideas with contractors which is so awesome. I get to decide what I want to do myself and what I want to hire out for. I also get to see what’s feasible in my space before asking for the impossible.

Cons:

I had a few glitches in the beginning but customer service was PHENOMENAL and sorted me out immediately. No cons for me. Maybe they could add pricing but that fluctuates so much based on market and date.

It was too technical for me and expensive for what I needed also didn’t have the furnishings library like Planner 5D

Super Helpful for our Zoo Redesign Challenge!

Very happy with the capabilities. I have used it for courses, for physical planning purposes and redesign of spaces in the school as well. Love it!

Pros:

Customer service added free educational accounts for us so that we could use it for a zoo redesign challenge for the Minnesota Zoo. They were required to use a 3D design platform, but the free version was too limited so we were given free education licenses. The project was much more sophisticated and realistic as a result of using Planner 5D!

Cons:

I wish it allowed the ability to resize without having to change the dimensions manually. I would like to be able to go to the corner of an object or room and increase the scale that way.

Sketchup has fewer built-in features and objects in the free version.

Advanced features with user-friendly interface

The middle school course that I teach is an integration of technology into community service projects. The students need access to professional-level software but that often comes with a high learning curve. Our class time is valuable and Planner 5D allows my students to get the functionality and features of a more advanced program but with a much more user-friendly interface and usability.

Pros:

I love the ease of adding objects to plans. It has the usability I need for my middle school students but also has the functionalities of more advanced programs that they need to complete high-level design projects.

Cons:

We haven't found a way to share projects between team members, other than sharing a 3d model of the project. There may be a way that we haven't found yet.

This platform is very user-friendly. It has a variety of different options for furniture, decorations, textures, surfaces etc. that makes it great for visualising the space!

Can sometimes be a bit fiddly when trying to rotate objects/move around, etc.

Amazing program!

Overall I had really love my experience as a new planner and my professor absolutely loved this site as well. I plan to use it even for fun afterwards since its so entertaining.

Pros:

I liked the straightforward instructions and the quick help. Its also the first planner that I find so easy and nice to use as well that is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Cons:

I would wish for the feature that changes the size to not be premium. Its the only thing that I had found so far a little annoying.
