QBO Review

So far it's been great, it took little to no training to learn the ropes. Bank Reconciliation is very easy and having the banks linked to QBO makes it even easier and faster to reconcile end of months

Pros:

QBO is a beneficial app to handle small business bookkeeping needs. It's user friendly and easy to add employees as well as your accountant. The dashboard and performance review charts are helpful to get a quick glimpse of how well your business is performing. I also like the Shared Docs with categorized folders feature.

Cons:

I wish the subscriptions were not so expensive.

It cannot directly sync over the job costing information from it's timekeeping system QBT.

Reasons for switching to Qbo

QBD is not as friendly use as QBO. For example the P&L by job is usually incorrect if we use JE to reclassify the transactions.

QBO is hard to beat!

I use it daily to keep track of client financials. It is my go to software for my bookkeeping practice.

I love how easy it is to use. Can jump right in without time consuming setup.

Cons:

Bank feeds have to be relinked often and sometimes the bank statement import isn't as reliable as I would like.

QBO is consistent and easy to use

Accounting is accounting. Chart of accounts, reporting, balancing... all accounting software has to be the same. However QBO makes sense of the noise if you are not from an accounting or bookkeeping background.
