Pros:

I've used it for years. It's just the most friendly. It's free. It works well, has alot of add-ons. I use it to browse the web and it performs quickly and without issue. Never needed customer support. It's easy to use and learn.

Cons:

Sometimes it remembers the passwords and other times i'm not sure why it does not. Can't think of any complaints.

It has all my things saved on it and that is super handy.

Pros:

As a serial entrepreneur with many businesses, I love that Chrome gives me the ability to have multiple accounts linked to different profiles. I always have 3 profiles open at a time, for my different businesses.

Cons:

Chrome, being a Google product, shuffles websites/SEO in a way that potentially helpful websites might not be the top result in my search.

How the mighty are meandering downward.

A lot of people are migrating to different browsers. I now use a combination of Chrome, Brave and Opera browsers and don't see Chrome as my ride or die any more.

Pros:

Google still keeps most of my information easy to retrieve, so I do rely on that. However, there are other browsers that do so now.

Cons:

My search results are riddled with AI summaries. One of our ceramic digests analyzed results and 100% of answers were incorrect. You can turn off the AI results, but few people seem to know how and I spend time making sure to spread the information. Google also really doesn't want you to use an ad blocker. I understand their reasons, but I also understand my own. It can be very hard when you have people who are more vulnerable to being influenced to buy things when it comes at you constantly.

Reasons for switching to Google Chrome

Firefox has far too frequent updates, lags at launch and didn't offer anything I couldn't get from Chrome.

Was good but will avoid when able

Negative overall, because having to fix memory leaks by rebooting the computer and losing progress on projects has been irritating

The original tab control was what made me come to this product over anything else. It was cutting edge

Cons:

The memory leaks that have now started to happen are causing computer crashes, as 1 tab is taking upwards of 40gb

Google Chrome is my favorite browser, never disappointed me.

Overall, I have never been unhappy with Chrome. I switched many years ago from Mozilla and haven't gone back. From time to time, I will try other browsers but I always come back to Chrome. It has become second nature to use it and is my comfort browser.

Pros:

I use Google Chrome for everything. I love the user interface. It makes it easy to save groups of tabs and name them, as well as leaving many tabs open. I like that it will restore tabs in the event of unexpected shutdown. I like that there are numerous plugins and extensions to make it function with other products and for safety. I develop for the Chrome browser because I feel it is the most friendly for development and a good majority of worldwide users use it regularly, although I have not researched the usages.

Cons:

I really have little complaint. Like any software, once in a while you need to do an inconvenient update or restart the software because of the nature of file storage.

Reasons for choosing Google Chrome

It's just more used and I'm more comfortable with Google products over Apple products. Opera is just nice as a secondary browser and for development testing

Chrome is fast, reliable and works seamlessly accross devices when synced with google account. It is simple interface and page management features make browsing easy.

Cons:

It consumes a lot of RAM especially when multiple tabs are open. Battery usage on laptops can be high compared to some other browsers.
