About Campminder

CampMinder is a cloud-based camp management platform that caters to businesses of all sizes across various industries. It offers solutions for online camp registration, camp staffing, integrated health care facilities, transportation, attendance, fundraising and more.

CampMinder enables parents to enroll their children into camps via online forms and registration methods and post messages including videos, photos and news from their specific accounts to platform’s online community. Additionally, it provides unified person record (UPR), real-time notifications, financial administration, health record-keeping, cabin and group assigning, and fundraising modules for camp directors, which helps track information, collects groups, handles cabin requests, manages staff and streamline donation processes.

Mobile applications for Android and iOS devices are also offered by the solution that allow users to remotely manage their business activities. Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis and support is extended via phone and other online measures.

Can't Live Without CampMinder!!

The benefit of CampMinder for me happens when I need something or a question answered, or need support there is ALWAYS such a fabulous, knowledgeable person that will respond and help me find a great work around and answer! I really could not be as efficient without CampMinder. It supports every aspect of camp and makes all things smooth for parents, campers, and the camp office. Amazing platform.

What is most helpful is that CampMinder has everything you need to make your camp office successful. It includes billing and invoicing, finances, camper information, reports, and so many other features to support your camp in all of your camp work!

Cons:

At times there are forms that may not be customized, but CampMinder is always ready with options and a solution!

Pros:

Our camp is a safety camp. It is a four week day camp. In our old system, a lot of the features we have in Campminder were in separate places. In CampMinder, at the initial screen, I can identify the camper, identifying characteristics, parent info and so much more. All of my reporting is in one area and student placement in the individual classroom is more simplified. We are enjoying discovering all of the things CampMinder can do!

Cons:

The only downside is that since we are new users, discovering all of the nuances of the application.

Reasons for switching to Campminder

RegPoint was antiquated and they would no longer be providing tech support.

This software is easy for admin use and provides excellent customer service for when you are stuck or just need help. Parents say its easy to use and it provides lots of features like medical, billing, photos, and communication that are essential to making sure our camp runs smoothly.

Cons:

Forms to be mobile friendly and be able to upload jpeg and not just pdf.

Best in the Biz!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! MUCH MUCH LOVE! The staff are fabulous at all levels -- knowledgeable, kind, creative and friendly -- the system is amazing -- it is designed for camps -- and it works!

It's truly hard to find anything wrong with this amazing product. There are always tweaks that can be found when a system has been used for a while, but our experience has been wonderful and worth every penny!

Cons:

Making the system more smart phone friendly for forms and payments as well as registration would be something our camp parents would suggest. The system uses a lot of bandwidth because of it's massive abilities, and while this is a positive, in very rural settings it can be a negative at times as well. My least favorite part of it is that the set up for our particular camp programs does not pull enrollment from the overall capacity, so we have had to set up a system outside of it to manage our programs. This is because we run 3 programs in every session and the programs don't communicate with overall capacity. We hope this will change soon. We're also anxious for parents to be able to set up their own autopay options without our staff needing to manage these choices internally.

Revolutionary Registration and CRM system for camps and youth programs all in ONE!

Very positive. Hands on staff, always available, always there to provide additional assistance and training. It was great working with them. Seamless to integrate our stuff in and also to export.

Pros:

I liked the value for your buck. I also liked the fact that it was a lead based application which allowed us to use it as a CRM. I like that it is an annual plan for a very affordable rate with unlimited users and staff with full or restricted access.

Cons:

That there were some features that could not be changed or moved or deactivated. It is not yet ready to be a CRM/registration system for other programs or age groups beyond camp. I wish it was there, maybe in a few years.

Campminder is a great database because they understand the needs what year-round camp professionals need in a registration system. Also, all of their customer service reps are helpful, friendly and quick to find solutions and fix issues.

Cons:

They are open to feedback and implementing changes across the entire system but it can take time.

Best Camp Software for camp with 50 or more campers/week

The BEST! After several years using an overpriced, underserviced product, CampMinder blew me away! Every time I have asked for something to enhance my program, they have provided it, with the best customer service.

The integration of the parent app, as well as parent communication is wonderful. I especially like the scheduling capabilities as well. The customer service and help center is incredible. I feel like they are truly helping ease the process and care about my success!

A software designed for camps by people who have run them!

CampMinder has allowed us to get all of our information we need for camp in one place, and to create new, customized reports whenever we need them. The customer service and client success managers have been super helpful in ensuring our first year worked quite smoothly!

Happy with Campminder

I find Campminder to be a robust system that can accomplish most tasks in an efficient manner. Overall I feel that it meets about 95% of our needs.

I like the ease of getting customer support. I called many times over the summer! Each time I spoke to a rep who was able to offer thorough answers to my questions.

Cons:

We still have to figure out a better way to use the system to track campers who leave camp. Person Tags and Notes are helpful - but they just don't hit the mark. I would also like the system to better flag camper requests & disrequests when creating bunks. Lastly - when creating reports - the column headers always need to be changed before I can share the data with parents. For example, the column header for a parent email address in a report would be F1P1 Login/Email. If I'm sending a report to parents - I have to change the column headings.
