About iGradePlus

iGradePlus is a cloud-based School Management System designed for schools and districts and a free Online Gradebook for individual instructors.

Key features include student and class management, school and district management, grade management, attendance and behavior tracking, communication tool and more.

iGradePlus helps teachers and administrators to create custom student and parent profiles and store them in a central database. The solution’s student and class management features include student document storage, seating charts, lesson plans, assignments, attendance and more.

iGradePlus’ communication tools for parents, students and teachers include student and parent web portals, bulk email support, notifications, document sharing, event calendars, bulletin boards, lesson logs and teacher blogs. Additionally, the solution offers a custom report generation and distribution engine and encrypts data transfer via secure socket layer (SSL) encryption technology.

Services are offered on an annual subscription basis.

This software is everything I need and MORE.

I cannot begin to tell you how I love this product, it’s ease and the help station. I would recommend for ANYONE who teaches or homeschools.

Pros:

It allows be to plug in my classroom census, syllabus, grade scale and grade weights. As I log into my books, it calculates and averages grades as I have preset. I can communicate with students and send digital and virtual assignments with a location for their response. The customer service is fast, personal and helpful. He is always coming up with new ways to expand and improve the product.

Cons:

I wish there were a better way to copy and paste a syllabus in the calendar from one week and year to the next.

Reasons for switching to iGradePlus

Engrade had less features for an insanely higher cost.

Great price, strong product.

Very good. Affordable and efficient. I do not know if another product can deliver at the same price as iGrade. I have seen LMSs that have better features and functionality, but many of these are quite expensive. iGrade fits my school.

IGrade is responsive when I need help. There have been times I needed a question addressed and a representative reached out within 24 hours as they said they would. iGrade is dependable.

Cons:

There are some features it lacks which would aid my role as a school administrator. For example, it would be nice if I attendance was set up so a second period teacher could see which students were absent 1st period. Also, if it could remind teachers to take attendance and notify an administrator if teachers forget.

Reasons for choosing iGradePlus

Price. Canvas was expensive. There were other LMSs which were closer in price to iGrade and we also most chose another. But iGrade had better functionality ratings in G2, and I have found it is easy to operate.

It did not have a parent portal. It lacked other features.

It fits the needs of our school and it’s free to use. Warble is easy to work with and provides prompt attention.

Easy to create reports in a pdf format and we can customize reports that look professional. Can use previous grade books without creating new assignments.

Cons:

It doesn’t always work in Chrome. There have been times when the server is down and it’s usually right when our grades are due.

LearnBoost wasn’t on the list to choose from. LearnBoost went out of business and we needed a way to create pdf reports. And before LearnBoost it was IG Pro

Great Product, Great Price!

Overall it has been a good experience. Some info tags would be nice on the admin side for entering data and ensuring required formats are understood at input.

You will not find a better product for this price!!! It is pretty easy to use overall. The summaries are super helpful.

Cons:

The reporting can be hard to format/print correctly. URL entry has to be the full URL. Would appreciate if the attendance defaulted to a different format for teachers, the weekly summary is better.

Simple & Sleek

iGradePlus is a great school management system, if you're not interested in all the bells and whistles that more expensive school management systems have. iGradePlus is cost-effective and easy to use: a great option for smaller schools on a budget.

Pros:

iGradePlus has a very simple interface, and it's easy to use. It takes minimal training to get started. Also, Report Cards are very easy to create.

Cons:

There is a lack of features compared to other school management systems. Two core pieces missing are a financial function and an integrated enrollment form. Also, report cards aren't accessible on the app.

The cost is very reasonable for our small little school. For the most part the ease of teaching new teachers has been great.

Cons:

Making templates seem to be somewhat difficult for me. When running grade cards we have to manually change the headings. Maybe this is our ignorance but it would be nice for the listed teacher to auto populate.

We were a new startup school at the time of purchase and needed something that didn't require a lengthy onboard and was reasonably priced.

iGradePlus is a Time Saver!

We have used iGradePlus for 5 years now. It saves my team a ton of time! We don't need to send updates to parents as they have 24-hour access. It has made doing report cards so easy, as all the averages and scores are calculated for me. Since we share students, it is really easy to run reports and share with my colleagues at a moment's notice. It is detailed enough that I can use it for IEP and 504 meetings without having to look in multiple places. It is a huge timesaver!!

While there are many things I appreciate about iGradePlus, the most is the ease with which parents can access and stay updated on their children's grades and progress!

Cons:

I wish there were a faster automatic save while typing in grades. My internet has disconnected, and I have had to reenter grades for an assignment because, while typing in an assignment, it doesn't autosave fast enough. I am pretty sure that is more human error than a problem with iGradePlus itself.

iGradePlus has helped us get organized as we grow exponentially with a staff of minimal experience. It has provided a way of sharing information and having it at our fingertips in a moment's notice. The response time has been amazing, and we love working with the staff to work through any issues.

We have enjoyed igradeplus. Even with minimal training, we quickly learned and loved the ease of use, adding assignments, grading, and adding individuals to the program.

Cons:

Finding the needed training on things like attendance, behavior events, pulling reports, etc., has been difficult. I have missed some information somewhere. Not having the texting feature and online registration has been difficult.

iGrade Plus offered what we needed at the beginning of the year at a fair price and was easy to start. Some of our teachers had already used the Gradebook so it wasn't difficult to switch over.

A True Blessing for Our Bible College Operations

iGradePlus has truly been a blessing to our ministry. As a Bible college that works primarily with mail correspondence students, having a reliable and easy-to-use platform to track grades, manage student progress, and maintain clear communication has been invaluable. The system is well-organized, intuitive, and flexible—making it easy for us to enter and update grades, track course completions, and keep accurate records for each student. What stands out most is the simplicity and effectiveness of the platform. Everything that iGradePlus offers has been a needed blessing to our ministry. There is nothing I could add to or take away from.

Cons:

There is nothing bad I can say about iGradePlus. The customer service has been excellent, they always respond when we run into an issue.

Reasons for choosing iGradePlus

The theme was way too expensive and would have not suited our needs at all. Name is not listed for the other alternative we were considering.
