    A promising community platform

    5

I wouldn't trade the UUKI platform for any other. It is simple but full of options that are easily accessible and understandable to the user. There are enough possibilities for updating profiles, but it is not a traditional way of functioning one profile, as is the case on, e.g., Facebook. I am satisfied with how UUKI is growing and progressing.

    Pros:
UUKI is a platform that works well if you want a community where individuals do not grow but are focused on a common story. We use this platform for a private community where users can access important information and share their insights and ideas through posts. There is a mobile app and a way to open it up for use via code from the community. Some options are important regarding the privacy policy, CNAME, unlimited users, etc. Also, my favorite option is to connect with Integrately and automatically add to the community after creating an account on the WP site. There is a constant aspiration to provide a good feeling to the platform user, admin, and members. Although I don't use it, the gamification option is interesting. The new UI has brought a positive change in the field of community page design as well as the options available to the admin.
    Cons:
The community page seems a bit static. There is a new UI, but I experienced a design bug when upgrading it. Overall it looks more modern and beautiful. Communication is possible through the chat form of the community. Still, if there are private groups, the chat will most likely be available to each for mutual communication because they belong to the same community. When using the mobile application, entering the code, and logging in, the user finds an account page that is more of a promotional type for UUKI because it contains the option for the user to choose an existing community or create his community. It bothers me that that page is not skipped because it only confuses someone who comes to a group he already belongs. Also, I would love UUKI to be a popular service, so this is a logical marketing step for them.

    Reasons for choosing uuki

It's much easier to make a private group with UUKI.

    UUKI is What I Needed!

    5

I am FREE from Facebook Groups, which means I am not accessible 24/7 to anybody and everybody who wants free services. I no longer have to deal with friend requests from clients, and it puts a huge boundary between me and my clientele. However, I can observe the Community in UUKI, and jump in when needed.

    Pros:
I love the ease of set up, I had my community built in less than one day. Ready for members within 2. It's super functional for what I need it to be, and has everything I need to run the kind of group I want. I'm sure it will only get better, there are some features I want to try out, but overall, this is exactly what I've been searching for at such a low price point I almost can't believe it!
    Cons:
Integration is not easy at all, embedding into my website is a mess, payment options are so incredibly limited, and I can't figure them out. Apparently my Community is "Invite Only" and I can't change that, I just want it to be hidden and accessible to the people who go through my website. I cannot make changes to groups I had previously set up because my "Password is wrong" (it isn't) and I just don't feel like I'm in total control of my communities. Also, a Stripe integration would be AMAZING. Customer Service seems slow, it takes a long time to get even an automated email.

    Reasons for choosing uuki

Price point, capabilities, and speed. This product is a STEAL for what you get, and I'm sure it will just keep getting better and better! I've been researching alternatives for a long time. As an Entrepreneur in my first year of business, I can't 1000s of dollars or more... on a subscription basis. Pensil seemed great, but ultimately not as functional as UUKI, nor as fast or intuitive.

    Reasons for switching to uuki

Social Media is Hum Drum and nobody takes it seriously, group notifications tend to get lost with the thousands of other things on there. I needed a more focused place to hold my Group. I also loathe being attached to my Social Media's, so to have my business wrapped up in a space that I don't like being was really a time waster for me. Uuki has made a great impact on my mental health, as I don't have to be on Facebook really at all.

    Bait and switch tactics

Sold as a Lifetime Deal with white-label features. Now they have announced that for full white-label you have to pay a monthly or annual fee. Despite uproar in the community, they haven't changed this policy and they have lost a lot of customers (they've reopened their refund window). They don't care. They have abused early adopters to get ideas from them during their alpha stage (beta would be too kind, it's just about beta now), and are basically forcing them out (or forcing them to pay for what they've already paid for). Shocking company. Totally untrustworthy. NOT a viable alternative to Tribe or Circle etc, despite the fact they keep comparing themselves to Circle.

A Genuine and Supportive Community Experience

    5

Overall, Uuki provides a breath of fresh air in the community platform landscape. Its emphasis on genuine connections, supportive interactions, and a user-friendly interface make it a standout choice for anyone seeking an authentic social experience. While there's room for improvement in certain areas, Uuki's commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment is commendable.

    Pros:
I recently had the pleasure of trying out Uuki, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The app offers a seamless user experience, making it incredibly easy to navigate and find exactly what you're looking for. The sleek and modern interface gives it a professional and polished feel.
    Cons:
I am not a fan of the sales commission, I don't want to both pay to acquire the tool and then after that pay to use it. Choose a monetization model and stick to it.

    Reasons for choosing uuki

I like the layout and ease of use. Uukis interface reminds me a lot about FaceBook. So if you can use FB, then you can use uuki.

    Reasons for switching to uuki

Peerboard was too simple, I did not like it at all.

    Pros:
I have been looking for a while for a white label solution i can integrate easily. I have tried a few other products but the last one i tried, literally had their branding in an app base and you couldnt get past people using the app under their brand. This is fully your own from nuts to bolts. Amazing. Also having access to the api, webhooks, CNAME...its just all very well thought of. Web3 inside, metamask already integrated. Perfect. Future proof so far.
    Cons:
I wont lie, there are few things they can certainly improve on aesthetically and some of how the posts work are frustrating. Like you can only have 1 image as a header when for what im doing, i would prefer 3 - 5 like a facebook groups kind of format instead of having to stick the others as a post in the thread but I will survive and if thats all i have to complain about so far, perfect.

    Reasons for choosing uuki

100% more seamless and just ready out of the box and the white label is 1000x better. its literally, white label.

Great app for high school clubs

    5

The price was great for the benefits of having a private community. I really wish they had a mobile app where we could get push notifications though. It would be so much more convenient for the clubs / communities that are always on the go.

    Pros:
The community was up and running in a matter of minutes. It was very easy to figure out. The private community settings is the best thing for a high school club / organization. No distractions from social media posts or ads.
    Cons:
Sometimes it gets a little glitchy and the events function doesn't work well. It worries me that the rest of the community sections will get that way as well. The name is a bit strange but the kids had a great laugh about it.

    Reasons for choosing uuki

Tribe's interface was just so ..... ugly. When I first tested out their product it was so clunky and I just didn't like using at all. Beam's customer service was atrocious. It took over 2 weeks for them to assist with a domain connection problem --- and even then they still couldn't fix it. Beam also doesn't allow my members to change their email for log in. This is a huge problem (and unheard of in other social media platforms).

Looking forward to continuing working with this platform!

    5

I've been searching for a community platform that was mobile friendly and allowed for customization. This is exactly what I've been searching for and the more I get into working with this platform the more potential I see for my business. I've already set up a beta testing area and have invited a few clients to try it out and overall the feedback has been incredibly positive! I have upvoted the ability to schedule posts and content as that is the biggest thing I feel I'm missing right now, but overall I'm very happy with this app sumo purchase!

    Cons:
It wasn't the easiest to get everything set up There isn't post automation yet, which would be incredibly beneficial, but I've upvoted it in the Trello board, so I'm hopeful.

    Reasons for switching to uuki

None of these platforms had the integrated community and course components that I was looking for, and although UUKI doesn't directly have this, I can easily see a way to make this work.

    Pros:
Very impressed with uuki in so many ways! First is the ease of set up – 5 minutes and you have a personalised and branded community ready to publish. Second is the number of functions that are ready to go – I particularly like the trending topics feature. Third is for the community – it works easily for them too – they find it easy to navigate around. In my use case, I have several FB groups but because FB will not allow proprietary files types to be attached – not even zip archives of them – it is impossible to share such files (in my case synthesizer sound files). But it is possible with uuki! The final huge plus is removing the noise of other social platforms. Going into FB is like navigating an assault course – uuki is only about your topic; no competition for attention, no ads or sponsored posts, no ‘noise’ – just focus on your community. For that final reason I think uuki has huge potential – seems the team is focused on realising that so I’m looking forward to being part of where it goes next. If you want to build a community, you really should get uuki!
    Cons:
As yet not found anything of concern. There are little tweaks that would be nice - like showing cover images of the group in the created communities dashboard for the admin, but that's being picky!

    Reasons for choosing uuki

Control, freedom, less noise, engagement seems better.

I like the ease of use, it is simple yet effective. The support is friendly and attentive. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] are well known with other amazing products behind them. The roadmap is truly impressive and progress is visible.
    Cons:
It is difficult to point out any cons, however, I would mention that I hope to be able to choose more community languages. As of now, only English, Hindi, Spanish, Chinese & Portuguese are available. My language - Danish - only has 5M speakers so it is quite small but I hope to at least be able to customize some key labels in the UX.

    Reasons for choosing uuki

The price point combined with a rich feature list was definitely a persuasive factor. I also liked the idea of being an early adopter with the possibility of influencing the shape of the product.
