  • I am using it for both native and cross-platform app development. Despite its simplistic design, it still houses all of the integral components of app development (SDK, IDE, emulator). But I preferred that it didn't get cluttered with unessential packages and tools. And Android Studio allowed such nuanced customizations for me.
  • Some tools are impossible to use on windows, Like the app inspector works for the first couple of minutes when inspecting network but it slows the whole system down way too much, have to detach the inspector to get the Speed back.
