- The debugger is also very good, its interface tools make it easy to track variables and analyze stack traces, helping a lot in more complex projects .
- the AI assistant is nice when it works, but it often doesnt, and your code snippets/project files are aggressively truncated behind the scenes making the tool much less useful for anything other than very narrow prompts lacking context
- I am using it for both native and cross-platform app development. Despite its simplistic design, it still houses all of the integral components of app development (SDK, IDE, emulator). But I preferred that it didn't get cluttered with unessential packages and tools. And Android Studio allowed such nuanced customizations for me.
- Some tools are impossible to use on windows, Like the app inspector works for the first couple of minutes when inspecting network but it slows the whole system down way too much, have to detach the inspector to get the Speed back.
