I love that they allow you to learn about new companies in exchange for cryptocurrency so it’s easy to grow your wallet!

Cons:

I don’t care for the fact that they charge fees when you sell cryptocurrency and when you cash out. It should be one or the other. Fees are minimal though.

Coinbase is a well-known name in the cryptocurrency world. It's built itself on a reputation of a brand you can trust. With it's easy to use interface anyone from beginners to pros can easily buy sell trade swap or store their cryptocurrency on coinbase or using coinbase wallet

Cons:

There's not much I can say that I don't like about Coinbase The only real problems that I've seen are the major database breaches that not only affected coinbase but the industry as a whole so you can't blame coinbase for that.

Had a technical issue with a sell order that was left open. Tech support said there was a bug going around and to wait, messaged later and they said it did have a bug and it would be escalated and to wait 7 days. I messaged back 6 times over the course of 14 days and every time I messaged they said to leave the open order as it was and wait for the team to respond. During this time I lost a lot of money. When I finally called in and the case was reviewed they said they couldn't do anything about the money and I couldn't speak to a manager. There was nothing to be done. Horrible customer service!

its great to have the ability to buy and sell crypto it also has a wallet where you can buy and earn rewards you can link your paypal and pay without wait and cashout directly using your coinbase debit card or transfering to outside linked account

customer service is a long wait and it almost makes you jump through hoops to verify ive been on the phone waiting in a chat que for 3 hours which will timeout if you dont type every 3 minutes . ive had an hour long phone conversation several times to find resolution.

Not my favorite crypto wallet/exchange

I use Coinbase to buy crypto. Mostly for online gaming and sending crypto to myself or selling crypto to cash out to debit card. The withdrawal process is quick. But their funds availability schedule for deposits is unclear.

Coinbase Fails on Customer Service

My experience with Coinbase has been a stark contrast between initial expectations and disappointing reality. However, this perception quickly eroded when I encountered their incredibly slow and opaque KYC process, leaving me in verification limbo for over 4 months. The lack of communication and updates was frustrating, but the complete absence of responsive customer support was truly appalling. My attempts to reach out through various channels were met with silence or generic, unhelpful responses, leaving me feeling ignored and undervalued as a customer. While Coinbase may project an image of reliability and security, my experience has unfortunately revealed a significant gap between their public image and the reality of their customer service. This has severely undermined my trust in the platform and left me deeply disappointed.
