Rise Vision has been very helpful on our campus!

Great, no complaints so far! This product has helped our individual grades, teams and other areas around school share their content as needed.

Pros:

Adaptability of use for our school sharing videos/photos around campus. Multiple connections allow for separate messages and content to be posted, depending on if it's in a certain hallway or lobby. The built-in options for graphics and widgets -- such as local weather and the clock -- have been nice additions to our screens.

Cons:

Lack of a social media aggregator to automatically reshare our school's Instagram posts to the screens. This might be available now, but we need to look into it more.

Reasons for switching to Rise Vision

The main issue our school had with ScreenCloud was cost.

Rise Vision -- Excellent platform and service

The platform is easy to set up and use. Tech support is always helpful if I have questions. Overall, I would recommend this platform unconditionally.

The ease of use of the platform and the fact that I can update my screens from any computer or device.

Cons:

The only negative thing I can think of is that it takes a few minutes to log in because of the two-step verification process. But, hey, that's a small thing.

Pros:

It worked without many flaws, after the initial set up, for a few years. Then, the app was no longer available on the setup we had and it would have required an entirely new TV to use.

Cons:

It was too hard to use. I had to have my website technician set it up and change it any time it was needed. This meant delayed changes and something not many people could easily implement without technical skill.

Rise Vision - A great system to communicate to your entire organization all at once

Using Rise Vision has been very easy. It is an easy system to teach someone who is not great with technology to use. It is easy to set up various presentations to switch for displays.

Pros:

Rise Vision is very easy to use. It is very easy to set up and deploy presentations to different displays. It is easy to change which information is on what displays in a short amount of time. The templates are very useful, containing every type you may need. The site seems very secure, which for a school is very important. We had other systems that were not as good. Rise Vision's price point was well worth it for the features and customer support has been very helpful along the way.

Cons:

Uploading PowerPoint presentations takes a little bit of work. It is easy once you get used to the learning curve.

Reasons for switching to Rise Vision

Xibo did not do everything we wanted, which Rise Vision does. It was not as user friendly and required more hands on work.

I love the ease of use and the versatility. They provide presentation templates for just about everything you can think of.

Cons:

Currently there isn't anything I dislike. The product is so easy to use and we use it consistently every day.

Pros:

Very easy to use! Great way to display events, birthdays, students who received an honor, retirements, etc.

Cons:

Sometimes it would freeze up so the display would not work like it was supposed to. Then I usually had to restart it or turn it off for a while.

Easy to Update Everything, but Scheduling and Presentations Take Time to Learn

Overall Rise Vision is a solid platform with a lot of functionality and makes it easy to create and maintain digital signage across our district. It has a bit of a learning curve at first, but makes sense once you get the hang of it.

It’s really nice that you can update everything remotely online. I also like that we’re able to use it across our district, even when working with different companies. The templates are also useful and convenience for a starting place.

Cons:

At first, I found it a bit confusing to understand how to create schedules and presentations, and how they connect to each other. Once I learned the interface and how everything links together, I realized there’s a lot of functionality for scheduling, as well as for mixing and matching different elements. I had some issues when setting up a few of the products where it would take a long time for the registration code to connect to the display.

Effortlessly Configurable, Vital for Classroom Messaging

We use Rise Vision for integration with classroom displays, which not only assists with instruction but also allows emergency notification messaging to be sent and received by every class. I appreciate the ease of use and configurability of Rise Vision, along with the ability to send emergency notifications to the screen to provide important details of incidents. I integrate it with Raptor alert from Raptor Technologies.

Great for parent communication

It was overall very good. It was easy to add a fun communication piece at the front of our school and parents liked it.

It was easy to put pictures and custom graphics into a google slide and upload them into the program.

Cons:

It was a little challenging to figure out the scheduling. Once I got the hang of it, it didn't take too long.
