Surpass, an adaptable, flexible system

Surpass has always been a good system to use, and we adapt and flex it to work for us as a business, where we can.

Can be adapted in many ways, multiple uses, user friendly, can be customised to the individual business.

Cons:

There is a long lead in time for changes, with much expense. New features are often not relevant as different types of users of the platform are investing.

It is very straightforward to achieve a number of activities. I get to interact with the developers and suggest improvements/changes etc.

The simplicity and complexity that is possible with question and exam creation. The numerous features that are being added. The numerous delivery options.

Cons:

Some inconsistencies in layout between screens. Some unusual limitations i.e. not being able to delete something without first doing something else.

Pros:

Excellent customer service and very easy to get hold of knowledgeable members of staff when required. Surpass staff make the effort to make their customers feel valued and listened to.

Cons:

Custom development within the core platform can be slow and expensive, however they do their best to understand customer requirements prior to development.
