Pros:

What I like the most about Exam.net is the team, from the customer service until sofware development. They always give me a fast response and create continuous improvements based on our feedback. Really love how they give their full effort to make online assessment easier for us (the teachers).

Cons:

For now...it is the difficulty to do colaborative editing on 1 exam, we need to copy it multiple times and make sure the first teacher finish his\her editing before we can have the most updated copy and re-copy it again to do the same step for other teacher in the same team. But I am sure the team will discuss this problem as soon as they read it and do their best to make improvement. I am looking forward for the upcoming updates.

Marvelous platform

I've started using the platform two years ago when I changed school. In my new school I had the license and fell in love with the tool.

Pros:

The possibility to give feedback to the students and to your collaborators both on the overall test and on the single item.

Cons:

The fact that when you share a test with someone it is not possibile to modify the shared exam: each person has to make a copy and then eventually share again the modified copy. It somehow defeats the idea of collaborative sharing.

Exam.net is clearly tailored by teachers for teachers and has amazing capabilities that are lacking in the other softwares I've used (especially on preventing cheating).

Very fast help

Very fast way to prepare exams, use questions previously prepared in another exam database and the possibility to be supported by AI to implement answers.

Pros:

Automatic excel table for correction and the possibility to change the order or questions among students.

Cons:

The limitation to obtain results in excel with a single excel cell with all information of the student (ie name, surname, matricula): it should better to obtain each information in a single cell to permit a copy and past of info in other files.

it is a great platform, but we need good online dictionary German Spanish integrated

what I absolutely miss: the dictionary German - Spanish is it is absolutely not usable. We need a word-to-word dictionary such as Langenscheidt with precise word information. The word translations in the language above are imprecise and sometimes incorrect. I would really appreciate it if there was an improvement here as soon as possible. Today it is no longer appropriate for learners to work with a paper dictionary. That's why we need a good online version on examnet. Thank you.

easy to use, there are different types of exams, especially the different types of questions are useful. Then it is also very useful that I can provide audio samples.

Cons:

it is easy to make listening comprehension exams - students can do them individually, they are responsible for their own time management. It works well

excellent system

I started using it at the University of Rome Sapienza in 2020, I have promoted its adoption by numerous colleagues and insisted in having the contract renewed after the Covid lockdown based on comparison with other systems.

Cons:

It lacks the possibility to upload an entire test (as pdf or text) and to have it transfered in the self score module.

Exam.net is secured exam app we ever try.

Cons:

Almost no shortcomings, this application is almost perfect, maybe in the future you can simplify the method of inputting questions, by provide a file upload option so as to minimize duplicating questions one by one

Review Exam.net

I heard about exam.net during covid from my niece who lives overseas. I tried it and shared it with my department in USA and from that time, I am trying my best to keep using it to the point I paid it once out of my own pocket to be able to use it with my students. The pricing is the huge challenge to my department, so if this can be considered, that will be great. Thank you again for your creativity to having a wonderful tool!

Pros:

It is time saving, features keep updated to meet the needs of students and teachers. I shared ones my need to be able to select certain questions from previous tests, and within a couple of months, this feature was added!

Cons:

Time should not reset if the student relogged into the test. The previous used time should be counted.

Better Use of Exam.net

Satisifed and using it saves time and energy for preparing paper-based test. It is recommended to take my least likings of the application.

- No free access for students unless that are allowed - Variety of question types - Covering and randomizing question features - Adding extra material to the tests

Cons:

- Not being able to play audio tracks uploaded to the test without internet which hinders the performance of students - When the test has an active timer, the timer doesn't deduct missed time from late accesses, which is unfair to the students who came on time. - It is recommended that even the subquestions are randomized not the single questions only.

I am a high school English teacher, and Exam.net helps me to nurture authentic self-expression in my students. It offers me a safe way to hold in-class writing assignments without the threat of students using either information from the internet or ChatGPT to complete their work. It offers my students a chance to express themselves authentically without the temptation of using the internet or AI, which gives them a realistic understanding of where they truly are in the development of their writing skills.

Nothing. I love it. It is easy to use and very user friendly.

No more paper exams

I have had a very good experience with exam.net. Since I started using it (during the pandemic) I have never done a paper based exam, I know it has a lot more features than the ones I use, but for my purposes it is a great asset. Even when there have been problems with the internet there has always been a solution and nothing the students have answered has ever been lost. Once I had an unexpected problem at exam time and it was very easy to find someone to go with the students and give them the code. I was able to be online to answer the questions.

Pros:

It's very practical. The exams are stored in digital format, which is very easy to organize and then consult, as well as being much more sustainable because no paper is consumed. It can be shared with colleagues, which is very useful for collaboration. Can be corrected by considering the same question in all tests They are always available The introduction of AI support is an asset

Cons:

What I like least is that the windows for correcting the questions are too small and make it difficult to correct when the answer is too long
