    Pros:
    I like the search function in the latest version. Only use the program to keep track of income and expenses. Like the ease of use.
    Cons:
    Would be nice to have a payroll module. Would like to have the schedule F to include FICA and employee benefits paid

    The con you mentioned is easily solved with an upgrade to Ultra Farm Software. Ultra computes FICA, state & federal payroll taxes. These results are carried over to Schedule F. End of year tax forms for 1099 land rent & Non Employee Compensation including W2's are available for printing. Just a reminder; Farm Biz is a cut down version of Ultra Farm so it uses the same Item Codes & Enterprises. The reports ,although fewer in Farm Biz, are identical to those in Ultra Farm. You can upgrade anytime even at mid-year.

    Implementing the new version of Farm Biz on a Windows 10 new computer.

    Our support person, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], has been extremely patient and supportive with this problem. We had numerous conversations with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] to solve this including him talking to our local computer specialist.

    The ease of entrys and reports generated from Farm Biz.
    Cons:
    The downloading of Farm Biz on a new computer with Windows 10 had issues. One issue was that the computer did not accept a disc, so I had to transfer Farm Biz zip to a Zip drive or use a CD attachment to load onto computer. The Farm BIZ is using old engines that are obsolete to todays Windows 10 Computer. I had to use a computer specialist to get Farm Biz to function and print year end reports. My previous Farm Biz worked fine with Windows 10 computer software. Also, the personalized vendor list sometimes has an issue when setting up personalized items. It would be nice if all vendors could be kept in alphabetical order.

    simple and straight forward to use along with excellent and knowledgeable support when a problem.
    Cons:
    would prefer even wider selection of categories to characterize data entry.

    The con you mentioned is easily solved with an upgrade to Ultra Farm Software. Both Farm Biz & Ultra Farm use the same Item & Enterprise Codes. Ultra Farm allows you to expand each existing Item code by adding up to 36 variations per code. Ultra gives you an extra space to add a sub-account. For example if you purchase Machinery Fuel, Item Code 743 you could expand the category by using a sub-account. Propane Machinery Fuel-743.P~~ Diesel Machinery Fuel-743.D~~ Gas Machinery Fuel-743.G When printing the DETAIL CASH TRANSACTIONS the money & quantities for these sub-accounts are totaled. At the end of the 743's the grand total of all 743's is also printed.
