BLACKbox is the most practical IT in a Box product

It has streamlined IT in my enterprise. In past 10 years we have not lost any data. We have successfully got through the vendor empanelment requirements of our customers related to cybersecurity. It is easy to manage and saves significant cost on hardware, software and bandwidth.

Pros:

BLACKbox is a single hardware single software product to manage IT, protect data from loss, leakage and theft. It helps successfully complete the vendor empanelment requirements by our large customers on Cybersecurity. It has have significant cost on Microsoft licensing as it acts as a domain controller, storage, firewall, end point controller, backup system, device hardening, VPN server.

Cons:

In their basic level of the support contract Turn Around Time is 2 hours.

Reasons for choosing BLACKbox

It worked out to be cost effective compared to procuring multiple solutions and integrating them. BLACKbox team provides managed services, so we did not have to spend on IT resource also.

Reasons for switching to BLACKbox

Our server was old and we were looking for a compact and simple IT in a Box solution. BLACKbox satisfied our requiremetns.

Pros:

A must for cyber security in today's age. Blackbox has Forced centralised storage, linux OS, email security, automated backup. In all a complete package for any workplace.

Cons:

Customer support is not easy to contact. Customer support team needs to be enhanced by adding more manpower, provide training etc. Also an easier contact method.

Good products for IT management of Small Office

Overall we are happy with services of Blackbox and we recommend the same for small offices. However a years back we have faced a situation where our hard drive was corrupted and it took almost 4-5 days to get it replaced and we had left with no data in our hand.

Force centralization, users restriction and Data retrieval after deletion & Internet policy to restrict WhatsApp, Restricted access to Pen drives.

Cons:

Sometimes customers support is very slow, Backend Software is not user friendly. Yearly one physical training secession for deletion of BPO data, recycle bins is required from your end as backend software is not very user-friendly.

Its good & useful product. Data recovery and data protection tool is useful.

Cons:

Call centre works only 6 days --- 10am to 6 pm. It should be all days in week & minimum 12 hours . Our weekly off is Thursday. This is most inconvenient. Call centre person communication is not good as personal interaction with service technician.

Email management, distribution and backup is a great feature, helps us take complete backup of emails and we never loose important business information. It also prevents sending attachments by unauthorized users.
