About Wayground

Quizizz is a student engagement platform designed to assist with classroom curriculums. The system comes with gamification functionality along with interactive learning materials such as leaderboards, live videos, live chat, and more.

Quizizz also allows administrators to control activities and assign specific tasks and assignments individually. The dashboard provides a centralized view of which tasks have been completed as well as the necessary requirements to complete additional assignments.

Go-to Engagement Platform

Quizizz is a solid choice for anyone looking for an easy way to gamify learning and to engage learners. Within minutes of loading the program, a user can find and begin playing a quiz. So easy to use, and the students really enjoy the competition and the memes!

Pros:

Quizizz is very user friendly and easy to use. One of the highlights of the platform is its library of user-generated content, allowing users to find existing question sets to match any content or curriculum. Creating games can take some getting used to, but all the existing content makes the platform accessible and easy to deploy.

Cons:

Creating games can take a little getting used to; it helps to have some prior experience with this kind of platform. However, with a little problem solving, this can be overcome.

Reasons for switching to Wayground

Cleaner, more streamlined product than Kahoot. Same basic function, just a more engaging and user-friendly product.

Quizziz is a Must!

My overall experience has been great with Quizziz. I’m able to use it on a whim to review or test whatever subject we’re covering.

Pros:

Quizlet has ready-made quizzes ready to go. You just have to click and assign. Every subject area and standard can be found.

Cons:

You now have to pay for the premium feature which allows for more memory/quizzes and more features.

Reasons for choosing Wayground

I use them interchangeably. Students seem to like kahoot better; however teachers like the “quiz” feature on Quizziz.

Great visuals! Choice of questions, drawing, makes it interactive, interesting and a good variety to an engaging audience!

Cons:

The quiz won’t end unless all participants complete. So if their phone freezes then it slows the results down.

A good gamified quiz platform for more fun and engagement

Quizizz is designed to be learner centric to motivate students. There are also some prepared quizzes publicly available to use directly which is a good feature.

Pros:

Quizizz is very easy for creating and conducting online quizzes. They have a clean and clutter free website. The basic account plan gives pretty good functionalities to create and publish multiple choice or open ended quizzes. The quiz question types are also customizable. The magic part comes when we conduct a quiz. The whole process is gamified to engage students and bring more interaction. Students gets rewards, power-ups etc like in an arcade game. On the quiz creator side, the real-time progress can be monitored. As the platform is mostly designed to be for academic purpose (apart from workplaces for employee and customer engagement), the admin gets a clear insight into the student data. An analytics is generated based on the student performance. Additionally, it can be integrated with existing LMS (Learning Management System) of schools and universities. Popular learning management platforms like Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology etc. can also be integrated with Quizizz.

Cons:

Quizizz questions are highly customizable but a lot of options can sometimes confuse users.

Reasons for switching to Wayground

Google form was not a service that primarily focused on quizzes. In Quizizz, the quizzes were more fun to attend as well as to create.

Super tool with gamification features to build quizzes, party games, interactive learning content to drive employee feedback, employee satisfaction and productivity through enhanced learning Some of the things I love about Quizziz - Very easy and quick to set up and design quizzes and interactive games - Integration with LMS tools - e.g. google classrooms, moodle - Free to try plan to see organizational fit - prebuilt templates and content to get started - can be played on both web, mobile - very portable - reports and charts at the end

Pros:

The best feature of Quizizz is how quickly I can create a "game" for my students to help my students master a topic.

Cons:

My school uses Schoology for a Learning Management System. Quizizz requires a distti9 or school plan for this feature. I purchase my membership individually and it would be great for Schoology and Quizizz to integrate.

Cons:

This software is more individual than others of its kind.

Who want to be millonaire meets its rebranding

Is a good experience with the quizzizz software from my role as an educator and a constar research for many activities to engage a big group of students. since quizizz give you a lot of tools to make this possible

The thing that I like the most from this software is the easy way it can be used in different devices and the opportunity to use it at your own pace, where your internet speed doesn't give an extra advantage in the different activities that you're participating in. Also the different types of academic activities that you can do.

Cons:

The thing that can be improved is the way to retrait the result from the activities, some of the other competitors software they give more info as a feed back of the activities

Rock out, Quizz on.

I love Quizizz. It's one that my students really enjoy. I can have them compete between classes to see which one can get the highest accuracy on an assessment, and they love choosing the music to listen to during the game. (Flame Impala goes hard.)
