The CoA template was configured to accommodate our requirements, such as the inclusion of all critical client and sample information and a tabular view of all analytes and their observed values, with each cell of the table designed to capture values based on specific test types. For this, the CloudLIMS team worked closely with us to fully align the CoA template with our expectations. CloudLIMS automated calculations and used in-built logic and complex algorithms to achieve this. The CloudLIMS team configured the solution’s service and billing module to enable us to generate and send invoices to customers in our preferred layout and format. CloudLIMS incorporated a digital signature into the invoice template, allowing us to validate invoices before sending them to our customers. The service and billing module has streamlined invoicing and made it significantly easier for us to track payments. Implementing CloudLIMS and automating several key processes has enabled us to meet compliance with standards such as ISO 17025, cementing our leadership position in Nigeria’s mining industry. CloudLIMS’s features, such as document management, instrument management, and staff training management, have been instrumental in this, along with effective sample tracking and traceability through CoC and audit trails. The CloudLIMS team trained our staff on the software comprehensively so that we could carry out configurations on our own.

The system has multiple components to manage samples, workflow and processes, inventory and equipment and to help us to maintain records for ISO 17025. There is a possibility to customize to our process flow, and how we do things in our laboratory.

There are limitations that seems to be low, such as workflow steps (max 25) for example. The support response seems to come overnight that slows done the set up / customization timeline.

They don't offer a package/s for a single user. As an alternative for a single user I'm using the FreeLIMS.

At the Translational and Advanced Medicine Hospital, our clinical processes involve next-generation sequencing, optical genome mapping, proteomics, and digital pathology. Our workflow involves receiving samples from physicians, storing them prior to analysis, testing samples, and reporting test results to the physicians. Sometimes, we receive multiple samples collected from the same patient at different time points. We are also setting up a new genomics laboratory for sample collection and storage. We were looking for a LIMS that can mirror our existing and new workflows seamlessly and adapt to changes over time. Selecting a LIMS vendor was a daunting task but my previous positive experience with CloudLIMS has tipped the scale in their favor. Not finding something to dislike thus far

CloudLIMS is super easy to use and has a clean, intuitive interface. I love how customizable it is to fit our lab's specific needs. The support team is really responsive and helpful whenever we have questions. Plus, being able to access it from anywhere is a huge plus.

The system can be pretty slow at times, which gets frustrating when I'm trying to work quickly.

CloudLIMS is used daily in work for logging all samples, tests, and to generate test reports. CloudLIMS was implemented in the lab to allow a management system to have all tests in one area where sample numbers could be assigned and testing tracked alongside this. The software makes this clear to see and enables ease of uses for managing workflow of samples received.

CloudLMIS has a large customer base, so when contacting customer support although they respond quickly to queries it can take some time for resolution of issues or for new features to be implemented.

What we like best about CloudLIMS is the product functionality and perseverance of the CloudLIMS team in addressing our challenging needs. The feature that stands out for us is the ability to track the complete genealogy of samples and manage patient data, including patients' consent. With this feature, we can trace the history of each sample easily, including the patient from whom it was collected, the condition of the patient at the time of collection, etc. The product also enables us to meet ISO 20387 compliance requirements with ease. The team's support during our evaluation process was excellent, and they answered all our questions satisfactorily. We conducted thorough testing before purchasing the product. Our entire team, including C-level executives, participated in the evaluation process, and we were impressed with the product's full capabilities.

Our experience has been nothing but positive.
