The most convenient and useful ASO tool on the market

Pros:

Over the years, we have tested every ASO tool on the market but we haven’t found a better platform for research, intelligence and reporting. No other ASO platform on the market today is adding new features as quickly as AppTweak. Our team relies heavily on market intelligence data for analysis and reports.

Cons:

We would like to see more paid search tools for Apple Search Ads and Google App Campaigns. Not a deal-breaker but “white-labeled” reporting would be helpful for our enterprise clients.

As a portfolio company, for us it is hard to use a tool for tracking

what I liked most about Apptweak is the ASO intelligence! It really helped me analyze other competitor's metadata.

Cons:

What I didn't like about AppTweak was the startup cost and poor customer support! When you need help with the app there should be someone there to help.

We are dissapointed with AppTweak’s refund policy and customer service.

We are extremely dissatisfied with AppTweak’s refund policy and customer service. Our subscription was automatically renewed in January, but we have not used the service since the renewal and no longer need it. Despite this, AppTweak has outright refused to prorate the remaining 10 months or offer any refund, which is completely unacceptable. We expected a fair resolution based on our usage, yet customer support was unhelpful, merely citing company policy without any willingness to find a reasonable solution. This lack of flexibility and disregard for customer concerns is frustrating and unprofessional. Holding on to a significant amount of upfront payment for a service we are not using feels unfair and exploitative. We are extremely disappointed with AppTweak’s approach and would caution others to consider this before subscribing.

Primary ASO Tool

AppTweak serves as my ASO assistant that I can not afford as a small app developer. Come to think of it - I think I get more value from this subscription fee as I would if I paid a person to do the same research.

I use AppTweak on a daily basis to do ASO. Their support is first class and being able to compare competitor data such as keywords and backlinks save me a lot of time.

Cons:

I wish I could see more stats while the app is in Beta, but I do realise that Google might not have all the data available.

Amazing value for the money!

From day one of using this product, I have loved it. It literally gets better every two weeks as they release new and useful features on a regular schedule.

Pros:

Getting to the information that I am most interested in is easy to do and there is a wealth of features to help me ascertain the nuances in the data.

Cons:

The breakdown between the iPad and the iPhone is annoying. There should be a way to switch easily from one platform to another for a single app. Also, the competitors and keywords should be shared between the two so I don't have to set them up separately if I don't want to.

Reasons for switching to AppTweak

The wealth of information, the ease of use, the well-designed interface were all better than AppFollow. But most of all, the performance was much faster.

Reliable Tool for ASO Optimisation

We used AppTweak after launching our mobile app in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for optimisation. While it was immensely useful for performing keyword research and competitive analysis, we found that a lot of the functionality was always locked against extra paywalls and the keyword research for languages other than English was limited. At the same time, AppTweak is an intuitive tool that can be useful for ASO optimisation with its optimisation scores and suggestions, so it was still very helpful despite those shortcomings.

Pros:

The interface is quite intuitive and easy to get around. The stats for the Android and iOS apps are displayed separately. AppTweak is also great for ASO optimisation thanks to the recommendations and optimisation scores it offers, as well as the extensive keyword research functionality both through keyword search and through analysing competitors.

Cons:

This tool is on the pricier side, especially for a startup like us. Another problem we faced is that the keyword research for stats in languages other than English doesn't yield results that are as fruitful as in the case of English keywords. It's understandable that the search volume is lower than with English, but we think that in that case other languages should have a different benchmark instead of displaying minimal volume, etc. across the board.

Worst Customer Experience Ever!

Malicious business practices & Bait and Switch is what comes to mind when i think about my AppTweak experience. They don't care about their customers, all they care about is extracting as much money from you as they can and will downgrade your plan limits anytime.

Pros:

I was Subscribed to AppTweak since Feb 2020 and really enjoyed the ASO features but most recently they have downgraded all the previous subscribers to a lower plan with less features. This is a classic bait and switch and not sure how people are letting them get away with this.

Cons:

The Support is pathetic and won't respond to you for days. My query remain unanswered for days and AppTweak team kept on trying to avoid my questions when i asked them why my current plan suddenly has changed limits. It's as if i was downgraded while paying the same amount of money as before. AppTweak treat their customers really bad and I would never in a million years recommend them to any App company.

Good tool for App store optimization

AppTweak has helped us learn more about ASO and about how to optimize our store pages. We now have a better understanding of both our own apps and competitors with regards to ASO, and on how we can optimize better for visibility and conversion to installs. The customer support experience has been beyond expectations, our contact responds quickly and is very helpful. They are very open to feedback and suggestions, and several of our suggestions have been implemented already.

We really appreciate the features related to finding and analyzing keywords. The tool helps us identify important keywords, as well as understanding what keywords that are not important to focus on. We can easily track changes and monitor impact.

Cons:

We experienced some challenges understanding parts of the user interface, however our contact quickly helped us and explained, and also implemented some changes to the UI based on our feedback.
