Cloudpermit helps government organizations and municipalities of all sizes streamline operations related to the management of approvals, site inspections, payments, and implementation of building projects. Its built-in search functionality enables teams to sort and view applications by name, date, status, type, address and other custom attributes.

Cloudpermit includes a self-service portal, which allows applicants to monitor inspection status, interact with officials, and upload site plans, drawings, insurance files and other documents. It offers various features such as on-site inspections, mobile access, automated status updates, scheduling, online forms, a self-service portal and more. Additionally, planning departments can manage pre-consultation activities and approvals, review documents and collaborate with applicants and internal teams using digital workspaces.

Cloudpermit allows administrators to create and export reports to gain visibility into inspections, permits, payment and other metrics. Pricing details are available on request and support is provided via email and other online measures.

Middlesex Centre Review

We were first to go fully live with the product in Ontario. Organization keen to work with users to make system better. Design team worked closely with building division staff. Cloudpermit cut our application process time in half and gave us a simple platform to use for plan referencing in field as well as inspection documentation. Also allows for easy shared service agreement with neighbouring municipalities

Pros:

Increased Efficiency- in so many ways including; administrative time cut in half from permit application to issuance, as well as plans in the field and documenting inspections and conversations

Cons:

A bit tricky for the first time, novice, user but builders love it as do techy folks
